Canowindra Riverview Motel

This was not only a lovely, comfortable motel, but also provided delicious Indian food - the best meal we had in Canowindra. It is well-placed near the main road into town and also the high street of Canowindra, Gaskill St. I would recommend this motel

Nice Motel well kept clean & spacious room. Welcomed with a smile by friendly staff if staying in town you can do much worse. would we stay again yes we would. Just a short walk from main street where you can grab a coffee etc. Remember this is a small country town so you will not find your takeaway outlets. The motel does offer meals & also sells to the locals as the takeaway i found out. We stayed here to do our balloon flight. Please be aware to let the guys know as balloon flights can go over & make checkout times close. Thank you to all the staff keep up the good work.

Disappointing, the shower grout was extremely mouldy and hair from the previous guests still on the shower wall. The standard of this motel has rapidly declined. It used to be spotless and well maintained. The last two visits were not good, we won't be returning.

While this hotel is a little dated, it's in a good spot, the room was very clean, and even with two beds (double and single) and a small table and chair setting, it was spacious. The bed was comfortable, and the staff were very cheery. It's an easy walk to the Old Main Street. Find your way to the Belubula River and cross over the Suspension Bridge- that was fun, too! This hotel is worth coming back.
