The room is big, the surrounding environment is OK, but the hygiene is worrying.
I found the shower head was dirty when I took a shower at night. I went to the front desk and they said they were off work and would come back to work at 10 o'clock tomorrow to check it for us... The next day they said it was scale...
I found ants all over the wall behind the bed in the middle of the night. I didn't dare to sleep at night. I told the front desk that they had disinfected it, but there were still ants the next night...
The breakfast was not delicious either.
For a hotel over 2,000 yuan with this level of hygiene and service, I don't want to come again no matter how beautiful the scenery is...

Our stay at the Mirage was a fantastic family getaway! The service was great in that staff were friendly, attentive and accommodating. We had an issue with the dryer door, I called the service desk and this was fixed while we were out, and additional towels were provided in the meantime. The resort itself had breathtaking views, clean and spacious apartment, great breakfast which accommodated my vegan diet and was only a 30 minute from Proserpine airport (and although we were at the very end apartment, they transported us there). The 4 star rating for the facilities was because non of the lifts around the resort (not the apartment ones) were working during our visit, so we had to carry our pram up and down flights of stairs to get to the pool, restaurant and the boardwalk. The 4 star rating for the location was because although we had multiple restaurants within walking distance, they were all closed for most of the time that we were there (we stayed Sunday-Thursday). We traveled with our 2.5 month baby and had the most relaxing time; I would highly recommend the Mirage.
