I was a guest in the hotel so I assumed the staff will be friendly or even treated well based on the reputation of the hotel. totally disappointed when go to the beach club in 18 of Aug There is a lady with blue eyes who won't let me get in the beach until i pay for her! Even when i told her that I’m a hotel guest she told me i have to wait after that i saw a person who paid for her was a non-guest, so she let the priority will be given to whoever paid. It feels bad to feel exploited!

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt im Carlton Cannes sehr genossen. Es ist ein wunderbares Hotel, sehr sauber und modern. Die Nähe zum Strand ist optimal. Besonders der Beach Club hat uns sehr gut gefallen und hat keinen Wunsch offen gelassen. Einziger Kritikpunkt ist, dass es nur sehr wenige Liegen (ca. 20) am Pool gibt, die bei gutem Wetter sehr früh für den ganzen Tag belegt waren. Leider gab es sonst keine freien Sitzmöglichkeiten oder Alternativen im Pool-/Gartenbereich, sodass wir den Pool kaum nutzen konnten.

Carlton is back. It is splendid. They have been wise and kept some of the old staff as well which is a joy when coming back after the renovation. The Riviera restaurant and its staff is now really good again. Kudos to the sommeliers. A jewel!
