Beautiful location. Splash pool and sauna unfortunately still not ready when we visited. Other services great though. Good selection of bars. In general good selection of food although we found the different restaurant a bit disappointing; it was mostly the same food as the buffet, only presented nicely. Apart from the check in where the reception kept accusing us of booking the wrong room for a family (we didn’t) generally great service.

Nice Hotel great service shame the only heated pool was adults only which was empty most of the time, hopefully the kids pool will be open soon. We bought wetsuits for the kids and they swam with us in the sea pool which was lovely. We will be back again.

We spent a fabulous week at this amazing resort. It was our first time in Madeira. We had a garden view room which was large and the bed super comfortable. All the staff we came into contact with were friendly and welcoming - special call out to Linda in Cocoa Cafe who always greeted us with a smile, Sandra the restaurant hostess who was super friendly and Nuno and Carol who we did a hike with and they were very informative and engaging. Yes the resort is not fully open, however the works did not affect us in any way. All the restaurants we ate in were amazing (Você, Sabor, Oishii, Carvão, Desire) -our only slight let down was the World Cafe for dinner which was a little chaotic at times (despite the resort not at full capacity) and the food was sometimes luke warm at best. There is a lot of choice of food, which could be a little overwhelming- maybe a suggestion would be to do less, but do it better. We would love to return in the future.

This hotel exceeeded our expectations, mainly due to the friendliness of the staff, in particular the entertainment team. Juan, Vanessa, Carol and the rest of the team couldn’t have done more to give us and our kids the most memorable stay. The kids club is exceptional and our kids were desperate to go every morning. It’s a stunning spot and the rooms are gorgeous. I highly recommend this hotel

This all-inclusive resort had the best drinks and restaurant (not the buffet) quality I have experienced out of the 11 different all-inclusive resorts I have been to. However, the buffet was below average quality and made worse by being in a tight space for the number of guests they had. The staff were largely inexperienced, or lazy, and supervisors were working too much to be effective supervisors. I would like to call out a few of the staff that were extremely hardworking - Pedro (Steak restaurant Supervisor), DiOCO, Smail, Rosa, and Laura. The hotel itself is awesome with a village setting in a very picturesque location. I was also impressed with the quality of the rooms. My overall experience was good, but could easily been exceptional with better management of the staff and buffet.

From start to finish, we had a fantastic time at Dreams Madeira and would highly recommend it. On arriving, the rooms were spacious and comfortable, everything was clean and well-presented, and we were even greeted with Valentine’s Day messages to welcome us. Everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the entertainment staff really exceeded themselves in looking after us. On the rare occasions that the weather was gloomy, one girl, Vanessa, really added some sunshine for us. She really went above and beyond to ensure we had a marvellous time, and the children loved her. In terms of the food, the themed restaurants catered to all of our needs, and we particularly enjoyed ‘Sabor’, but ‘Oshii’ and ‘Carvão’ were also great, not to mention the buffet. As for activities, there were cocktail making workshops, couple’s painting, and candle making, which all added variety to a relaxing stay. A particular highlight was the quiz which Nuno & Vanessa put on, but across the board, there was so much for the whole family to do. The Kid’s Club was better than we were expecting, and our daughter had so much fun with Carol and the girls, she didn’t want to leave. The setting itself was stunning, with a private beach and natural pool, and it very much felt like the luxury experience we were hoping for. With so much to see and do on the island, we’ll certainly stay here again when we next come to Madeira. All in all, it was a great experience.
