Beautiful location. Splash pool and sauna unfortunately still not ready when we visited. Other services great though. Good selection of bars. In general good selection of food although we found the different restaurant a bit disappointing; it was mostly the same food as the buffet, only presented nicely. Apart from the check in where the reception kept accusing us of booking the wrong room for a family (we didn’t) generally great service.

Knew within a few hours of arrival that I would want to return to Madeira and stay at Dreams again. Food, location, landscape, service, ambience, room, activities.... all excellent. Need to reserve restaurants in advance but this is easy to do via the Hyatt App. They just need a way to enable you to reserve before you arrive so you don't miss out on your first day.

Lovely New Hotel, great setting if you are happy to be away from the town. Lovely up hill walks from hotel along the coast. The staff in the hotel are very friendly and welcoming but unfortunately a lot are lacking the training needed to deliver good customer service. Our room was comfortable but the snack bar not kept topped up. Special Pillows were available but staff were not sure of the offering. A good choice of restaurants and bars to eat in but again staff were not all trained well in these areas so service was a bit slow and disorganised. It may take a couple of attempts to get what you ordered! The cafe (Cocoa ) however was very well run and the staff were knowledgeable friendly snd efficient. The preferred lounge was filled with drinks for you to enjoy whenever you wanted but again the snack area wasn’t always as fresh as it could have been. The buffet restaurant had lots of choice but depending on when you visited it could be good or lacking on quality. Speciality restaurants and bars all struggled with service of drinks and food so the experience depended on who was looking after you and time of booking. The hotel has 2 pools which we did not use the as the weather was a bit cool.We did brave the lido area one day. The spa had massaging open but no other treatments. Reception helped organise our day out in the car with some good recommendations for walks and sightseeing.

Très belle expérience en famille, belle situation de l’hôtel (pieds dans l’eau et à quelques pas de la magnifique randonnée Ponta de Sao Laurenço), un personnel très accueillant, disponible, bienveillant. Plusieurs restaurants au sein de ce Resort dont le Vocé face à la mer et à la piscine d’eau de mer proposant des plats recherchés, variés, travaillés beaux en couleurs dignes d’un grand restaurant. Le buffet est de grande qualité avec des plats frais, divers et variés, bien travaillés. Une très belle expérience que nous conseillons pour celles et ceux qui souhaitent passer un séjour reposant.

I found the staff incredible. Everything went smoothly. The hotel was clean and organized. There is a useful app, what we have used during our stay. I recommend to download it because in some restaurants you must have a reservation, and you can do it yourself in the app. I recommend workshops, too. They are fun.

Where do I start? The Resort was brilliant, staff fantastic, food wonderful, room excellent. I can honestly say, I can't find one bad thing to say! This was special celebration holiday for us, and I want to say a a big THANK YOU to the Guest Relationship Team organising the flowers in our room, and the brilliant upgrade, really appreciated. I could go on and on, but I just have on piece of advice to anyone thinking about staying at Dreams, Madeira ... just book it!

Lovely hotel but needs a lot of improvement to provide a 5 star experience. Housekeeping was hit & miss; you have to chase for the room fridges to be filled. The food offering is poor to average. It’s the small details that make the holiday and unfortunately a lot was missing here. I appreciate the hotel has only been open for six months, but expected better. It was a lovely break but the small irritations marred the experience.
