We stayed for two nights at the Parador de Cangas de Onis. It has a fascinating history as a monastery. The food was excellent. Many visitor attractions nearby.

El perfecto estado de las instalaciones, habitación asignada, restauración y “mimo” en la conservación de un lugar tan emblemático. La información aportada, mucho antes de nuestra llegada, de toda una serie de actividades a realizar en el parador y entorno (natural/humano); y por supuesto sobre la marcha en el Parador. Posibilidad de hacer uso de distintas dependencias (capilla/biblioteca … en cualquier momento). Calidad humana que recibimos por parte de todo el personal. Maravillosos conciertos al atardecer (Claustro) y mientras desayunábamos. Nos sentimos muy cómodos y a pesar de ser la primera vez, nos hicieron sentir como “habituales” al mismo. Ideal para conocer la zona del macizo central y occcidental de los Picos de Europa. Meditación y descanso.

Todo perfecto. Un magnifico monasterio del siglo viii a orillas del Sella y cerca de los Picos de Europa. Los empleados atentos y educados. La comida muy buena. Se duerme muy bien. Hay actividades culturales como conciertos de musica o proyeccion de peliculas. Destacaria la visita guiada del director.Hemos pasado unos dias inolvidables y esperamos volver pronto para dusfrutar del parador y de la marabillosa Asturias.PUXA ASTURIAS.

La estancia fue fabulosa. La cocina muy buena, el correo de bienvenida que nos envió el director antes de llegar fue muy de agradecer y nos adjuntó información muy útil sobre las actividades que se pueden hacer en la zona. El paseo por el Sella hasta Cangas muy agradable. La visita del monasterio teatralizada con el monje benedictino muy interesante e instructiva. Recomiendo pasar al menos dos noches para poder disfrutar de todo lo que ofrece con media pensión porque además se come muy bien.
