Sunset Beach Resort

We spent 3 nights here for the last part of our trip on Goa. We loved Sunset Beach Resort. It's a very well maintained, clean and stylish complex. The room was large, with super large bed, excellent shower room, super large fridge and TV. 2 small balconies over looked the shabby carpark (that's Goa for you lol) on one side and on the other, the beautiful track down to the beach and glorious sunset. Handy supermarket next door, restaurants everywhere, main road or beach is your choice. Candolim definitely more touristy and buzzy as a resort. The hotel is set between the main road and beach, so its also secluded and quiet. Breakfast gave the option to have your eggs served however you wanted plus coffee or tea, bread and jam etc. We ate at the restaurant on one occasion and it was fab. Definitely recommending

We have ave been to this hotel several times and will return. The staff are friendly and accommodating. Nothing is too much trouble. It offers reasonable good value accomodation which is well located for the beach, restaurants and amenities.

the hotel is located in a good place near the beach and main road where all the restaurants are. the room is nice a/c and fan with a nice balcony,,BUT,,the swimming pool area is in the shade all day which is a same i didn't come to goa to sit in the shade ,so we are going to the beach every day it would be nice to mix it up with the pool

Booked 7 nights at the resort. Left after 6 The first 5 were pleasant. Other than breakfast there were no other options available. One had to walk a few minutes to the main street to local restaurants. We were told it was the off season so everything was shut. The 5th evening though was when disaster hit. A group of 12 noisy individuals occupied rooms around us. There was much yelling and screaming on all sides. There seemed to be no staff to try and curtail the noise. I finally ventured out of the room as they all now descended into the pool just outside our balcony. I sujjested that while they could have fun, they might like to tone it down a bit. It lasted 5 minutes before the cacophony started again. We decided to leave and proceed for dinner. We returned late. While they were out of the pool, the partying carried on in the rooms. Doors were banging closed and music and singing blaring. I called the front desk several times to ask if the neighbours could tone it down a bit, but there was no answer. I tolerated it until midnight, when I tried to contact the staff again, but there was no answer. I then called the owner Tony, who I had met previously but there was no answer inspite of repeated calls. Well the ruckus settled after 3 am. No sleep at all. We then cut short our stay and left. What surprised me was there seemed to be no professional response from the owner or the staff. On leaving I was requested by the front desk for payment of their commission that they owed

We had a fantastic 3 weeks in this hotel rooms were brilliant with 2 balconies to sit and watch the world go by. Food was good with just breakfast included But plenty of places to eat including onsite Bistro which was lovely. It wash a short walk to beach with some great shacks to relax have a drink, food and free sunbeds
