Sea Breeze Beach Resort Candolim, Goa

The property on first look appears to be good. However, there is no maintenance and most of the staff is temporary with little to no training on housekeeping, in room dining, buffet or handling your grievances. I was here for a week and it turned out to be a job to stay here than a vacation. Room#1 - The room allocated to us on the day of the arrival did not have a functional AC, imagine yourself in the situation where you have driven for 12 hours in April heat and the room isn't cooling for 3 hours. Room#2 - after 3 hours the staff took us to show another room which can be allocated to us; and guess what there's someone lying on the bed and the staff has no clue who they are Room#3 - So after figuring out that 2 out of the 4 wings have an issue of centralised AC, they offered us the 3rd room which started cooling thankfully. However, this seemed to be under maintenance for some time and had a moldy smell to it, but i had to make do (sleepy from the drive). See pics. Add to that no minibar to keep your drinks, no kettle, no extra towels and no toiletries. On the second night, we realised that the room service doesnt clean the toilets, mop the floor or clear your used cups and glasses unless you ask them to do it. Because they are all trainees and havent done this before. So you wake up every morning go to the reception and hand them a to-do list of what you want done in the room (imagine that). Night 3 - ANT Infestation!!!!!! 11.30 in the night you feel theres something on the floor and when you switch on the lights, you find ants all over the floor (i was so shocked and sleepy, i didnt take pictures). I tried so hard to cancel the booking but it was non-refundable, had it been even 50% i would have taken it. If you decide to stay here, you should be paid by the management because you will end up teaching them a thing or two about running a hotel. BOOK SOMETHING ELSE. PLEASE

We had the best stay, its was very comfortable and the servo was also good. The beach near by was so nice. We had my friend bady celebration also arranged there, tq to all the staff who helped us on that. We enjoyed our maximum in the pool and mad made so much memories

Very bad place to stay No security or safety at the hotel the day before we leave someone I think from the hotel staff at around 01:58 am in the was covering his face and jump on our room from the back door and the hotel did not informed police, I have the Video record from hotel cctv

Sea Breeze Beach Resort, Candolim- AVOID! The reception staff were not very welcoming. The grounds could have been lovely but no care had been taken to clean them, or the pool, which was full of leaves. The sunbeds were old and ripped. The room had not been cleaned. The towels and sheets were used and smelled, the fridge was broken and standing in the hall outside, the toilet was loose, as was the loo roll holder, the aircon was hanging off the wall and the shower dropped all night and had a bucket under it…need I say more! I would say this hotel is more -2* than 2*! It needed some tender loving care!
