I visited Hyatt Place Candolim in first week of August. The property is well maintained, aesthetic & the staff is very nice. The manager Kunal is very hospitable. I was travelling from Mumbai & found myself in middle of a crisis in Candolim. Kunal heard me out, understood my problem & helped book a pool facing room. The other hotel staff is also very caring. I was not feeling well the next morning so the property staff got me my medicine all the way from Calangute. Apart from this, the breakfast spread is 🥰🥰. I am giving this property a 7/ 5 stars. If you are looking for a classy, comfortable stay in Candolim & want staff who can understand your problems & take care of you, you should immediately book this property.

We had a wonderful family holiday at the Golden Tulip Hotel in Goa. The hotel provides the perfect blend of comfort and luxury. The rooms are thoughtfully designed, spacious, and come with modern amenities that ensure a pleasant stay for both adults and children. My kids loved the pool area, which was clean and child-friendly, with a shallow section perfect for little ones. One of the highlights was the restaurant's diverse menu—both buffet and à la carte options. Whether it was Goan seafood specialties or international dishes, everything we tried was delicious and well-prepared. The breakfast spread had something for everyone, including fresh fruits, eggs made to order, and Indian classics like dosa. The hotel's proximity to both beaches and markets made it convenient for short day trips, but it was also so enjoyable to just relax on the property itself. The friendly and helpful staff enhanced our experience, always available to assist with a smile. Golden Tulip is ideal for a family-friendly stay in Goa.

We had a fortnight at the Aldeia Santa Rita [ASR] and found it to be staffed by a welcoming, friendly, and professional team. The hotel itself has lovely gardens throughout and plenty of palm trees, which allow for lots of birds, chipmunks, and other local fauna. Rooms: A very traditional Portuguese villa style/looking hotel, the rooms are much the same, although some are of a higher standard than others. These rooms seem to be the ones on the main walk through and face the pool. We really liked the traditional feel and found our rooms to have all we needed, with the exception of a comfy bed. The mattress was very hard, thin, and laid on a solid wooden frame. We did ask for a topper, which helped to an extent. So just be aware. Two fans and air con ensured we could keep cool when needed. Very nice bathroom with a decent shower, and it all looked pretty new. There is no safe/safety deposit box in the rooms. These are all in reception, and you must provide your own locks. We had a first-floor room and would choose this again as it gave more privacy. It was also good to have tea and coffee making facilities plus a full-size fridge. Food: All buffet style with the exception of ”a la carte” nights [every other night]. We definitely had some very nice food on the couple of evenings we did eat at the ASR including a selection of curries and some nice soup . Although we were booked All Inclusive, we had no intention of being so as there are some very good restaurants in Candolim. Otherwise, the food was very much aimed at domestic tourists, so some may find a very limited choice at both breakfast and dinner. Fresh eggs , omelette etc where readily available and cooked to order each breakfast. There was a very efficient toaster and fresh porridge, 1 type of fruit and usually 4/5 hot dishes which, as I've said, were mostly Asian inspired. Overall, the quality of the food was average, in our opinion. Pool: Very nice pool, well maintained, fair amount of sunbeds for the most part. However, there were not enough areas of shade/umbrellas, and it did get very hot. The world famous sun bed baggers were very much in evidence, and many beds were bagged but unused until later in the day. This is annoying whatever hotel or country you're in! One downside, the ants and other small insect critters. These were seen crawling all over the sunbeds throughout the day, and on the day I stayed by the pool (morning) , my bed was under attack all the while. The ants were even more active from about 1630hrs onwards. Not a pleasant situation and 3 of us were bitten, but it evidently did not bother the many who stayed at the pool every day. Location: Very much situated at the Fort end of Candolim, fair to say you're in Sinquerim. It is a fairly quiet location which is nice and it's a good walk to the busier parts of the resort. When planning the final, Candolim section of our trip to Goa, Shanu's first caught my eye as it seemed to be in a good location but it was difficult to find many reviews from a UK tourist's perspective. Despite this I made a booking for a 1st floor Queen room and it proved to be a very good decision. Shanu's is a large building surrounded by beautiful gardens, located in a quiet, mainly residential area with a couple of other similar guest houses nearby. It is two minutes walk to the beach, 5 minutes to the main road and 10 minutes to Candolim beach road. On checking in we received a friendly greeting before being shown to our room where we were handed our WiFi passwords and 5 large bottles of water, one for each day of our stay. The room had a balcony, accessed via sliding glass doors with insect screens and was equipped with a comfortable double bed, effective quiet air conditioning, a fridge, a kettle and there were plenty of sockets dotted around the room. The modern ensuite bathroom was fitted with a great shower that provided hot water any time of day and room cleaning was carried out whenever required by leaving our key at reception, who also organised a very reasonably priced taxi to take us to the airport. We enjoyed our stay at Shanu's enormously and wouldn't hesitate to stay there when we next visit Candolim.

It was a great stay at bloomhotel calangute. The only drawback is the parking which is very limited. Those who are going by car will face an issue as there is space for only 3-4 cars in total. The neighborhood parking lot has paid parking where they de***ded 1k/day for the same. I had to go park my car in baga beach parking and had to walk 2km to access my car which was a disaster. Coming to the rooms it’s actually very clean and well maintained but very small. The staff were supportive especially the securities. There’s a pool and an indoor games/chillout spot. The room service was on point and the cleaning staff did their job well.

Very joyful and satisfied family stay, checking most expectations positively, only suggestion to improve impact would be greater attention to details. Happy enough to extend stay after feeling satisfied supportive desk and hotel staff and good variety in breakfast, restaurant food quality/taste very good though more local/goan/konkan options would be appreciated - good south/north indian options; rooms-toilets-baths clean and spacious with relevant amenities. Could enhance service with more consistency and attention to details specifically housekeeping - no significant complaint and the team resolved on call: old bottle in room fridge, missing feet-towel outside bath, 1 instead of 2 soap bars, less milk creamer, etc. - relatively insignificant grindings but the difference between good and excellent. For anyone hoping to book, would definitely recommend with a suggestion to always use the entry road by the mandir near the highway signal instead of the entry road by the highway church which makes navigation a bit long and confusing.

Wonderful hotel in central Goa. Consists of 2 hotels. This hotel itself is on the mountain and a beach hotel. There is a taxi shuttle running between them. Breakfast is 90% Indian. It's hard. Be ready. Restaurants are good in both hotels. There are also non-Indian dishes on the menu. If you come for a short vacation, there is no point in leaving the hotel.

Wow! Wow! Wow! Thats what we can truly say about Doubletree! Nithesh, Syantika & Shivram the 3 of them really made our stay Great and Wonderful! They deserve the recognition for their service. The night we arrived, we were welcomed by Nithesh at the reception. The check in was quick and Nithesh followed us all the way to our room giving us information on the bfast, facilities, f&b and other details that we needed to know! Great Service, Nithesh! At the cafe during bfast, we were served by Shivram. He made sure we did not miss a thing! Shivram, we were looking out for you over the next few days, but maybe you were on another shift. Great Service, Shivram! Last but not least, Syantika! Although you are a newbie, you did not seem like a newbie at all! Your charm and must-do attitude, awesome! Both my wife and me felt, that your truthfulness in attending to a query that we asked you, and getting an almost immediate response, just speaks a thousand words! Beautiful property and perhaps one of the biggest Fairfield property. The service was professional and the room was cozy with all basic amenities. Beach is just a few hundred meters away though it’s not a private beach. Overall a wonderful place, most important for me was that it was not located in a crowded area. Breakfast buffet can improve.
