Been to the hotel multiple times, lovely staff, excellent food comfortable rooms and love the area....sadly it will be our last visit, fellow guests were unruly and not food hygienic, coughing and sneezing all over buffet, we both ended up with very bad chest infections....luckily (?) only affected the last day of our 2 week holiday...the hotel is not to blame....meal times are manic with guests pushing and shoving to get at buffet food....standing far to close to others

ESTUVE LA SEMANA DEL 07 AL 14/12/2024 en el hotel catalonia punta del rey ya no es la primera vez y es una buena elecion el personal de todas las categorias es magnifico pero siempre alguien destaca en esta ocasion se lo lleva el comedor un saludo para MOISES y SIMONA cuando estan se nota como funciona el servicio un saludo es pero que la direcion se lo haga llegar.ESPERO VOLVER

I will start with the positves. We found all the staff friendly and welcoming, entertainment very good Elton John was fantastic, food in dining room generally good, ice cream machine and chocolate fountain great. Negatives are paper cups are a no no re washable plastic cups a much better option. Decor in rooms very outdated and shabby needs refurbishment. Location was quiet remote not much near the hotel. Would we return not sure!!

As a young couple we could not fault the place. The older gentleman at the reception was very polite, helpful and friendly and we were very pleased with the way he helped us. The staff at the outside bar were very kind and polite. Our room was very nice and the shower was very powerful. The food was delicious (international night was our favourite). The premium area was lovely. The hotel is very clean and smelt clean. Overall we had a lovely experience, we had an amazing deal and for the price we cannot complain. Definitely recommend !!!!

On arrival to this hotel we went to the water machine to get a drink and discovered around 20 cockroaches crawling all over it. The hotel staff are some of the rudest people I have ever come across! If you dare to complain they get angry and speak to you with such an attitude. The food is mainly slop! Bad quality meats that made me feel sick. None of the coffee machines work properly! Pressing for a coffee gave me hot chocolate. The decor in the hotel is 1990s and is in desperate need of updating! This hotel is NOT 4 star at all!! I would give it a 2 at the very most! Everything is falling apart! I will never never return

Just booked for our 3rd year running... just love this place - me & my brother have been coming to see the New Year in for the last 2 years and it has been the best New Year holiday we've ever had, what mainly makes it for us is the such friendly staff from reception to bar & dining - see you all soon!
