It took me almost two days to look for a hotel in Yangshuo. Almost all the homestays here have been renovated with large floor-to-ceiling windows offering mountain or river views, which became a bit boring after looking at them for a long time.

My eyes lit up when I saw Shanshui Shengmei Hotel. It is so different from other B&Bs that only have one or a few buildings. The huge space is surrounded by mountains. The winding pool flows through the large lawn in front of the guest room area. The white pointed tents further highlight its difference from other homestays here.

Because I was worried that the tent was not soundproof, I chose a diamond-shaped wooden loft house halfway up the mountain that was farthest from the exit but closest to the back mountain. I felt like I had realized my long-cherished dream of living in a tree house.

January is the off-season in Yangshuo, and my friend and I actually booked this hotel!

Living far away from the crowd is perfect except for being a little scared at night. I wake up every morning to the sound of birds singing in the back mountain, and when I open the curtains I can see the warm winter sunshine. Standing on the second floor of the loft, I can see the entire hotel. It feels great to overlook everything! You can also see the twinkling stars in the sky at night~

For breakfast, you can choose between Chinese and Western styles, and each has two choices. I like Chinese food, so I ate Chinese food for the two days I stayed here. The taste was very good and there were many varieties~

I plan to stay here again next time!

Overall, not bad.
The housekeeper took us to pick bananas, paddleboard, kayak, ride a motorcycle, and ride a mountain bike. The scenery along the way healed the city's oppression of reinforced concrete. Next time you come back, you can take your family to experience the children's fun room, and experience the spa, Huashan motorboat tour, afternoon tea, ATV mountain biking, etc. [Come on]
2. Room: The scenery is very good. I forgot to take pictures of the balcony view. When I woke up in the morning, I opened the curtains and a large landscape ink painting came into view. It started a beautiful day and was refreshing.
3. Public area: clean and hygienic, the mirror pool reflects the blue sky and white clouds, accompanied by the sound of gurgling water, looking at the Hui-style architecture, it feels like entering the south of the Yangtze River at a glance
4. Catering: quite satisfactory and in line with the positioning
5. Disadvantage: There are too many activities and I can’t finish them all in one day [laughing through tears]

The hotel has a strong sense of design and is warm. The room is in a good location. You can see the sunrise when you wake up in the morning. The hotel is located at an altitude of 1,000 meters, which is the commanding height of Jintang. You can overlook the entire Jintang area. The air is fresh, and you can also see the Tuojiang Three Gorges from the viewing point. There is a long hiking trail around, which is very suitable for walking the dog or taking a walk in the morning. I also met a family of black goats walking by themselves, which was very interesting. The hotel thoughtfully sent afternoon tea, and it was particularly pleasant to sit in the sun and drink tea.

During the stay, the housekeeper Luna was warm and thoughtful. The floor heating and air conditioning were turned on in advance. The room was very warm and comfortable. Even during New Year's Eve, there was no lack of thoughtful details. The overall environment is beautiful and the facilities are complete, which is very suitable for vacation or quiet rest.
