First impressions very dark inside. Room average, decor needs to be bought into the 20 th century recent bathroom in the room. Slept very well . Creaky floor boatds but its an old building. Food evening meal was acceptable, breakfast nothing special but did its job. All in all nothing special but did the job. Had i of had to pay for this id rate it £70 to £80 a night.

Very comfy beds and well appointed bedrooms. Bathroom was well stocked. The reception was a little off putting, but the rest of the staff were top notch. It was a perfect walk along the water to get to town for a bite to each and sitting right out side had a wonderful view of the harbour. Breakfast was fantastic - lots of options and really good food.

Gorgeous
The view was gorgeous. The room (Room 5) was lovely. I enjoyed the deep bathtub. The location is great. A visit to the Bay os Saddell is highly recommended

A beautiful hotel set in the stunning & picturesque port of Campbeltown.
The hotel is tastefully decorated with lots of period charm.
The views over the water from the hotel are spectacular!
The staff were friendly, welcoming & very attentive.
The breakfast menu is excellent with locally sourced produce & our evening meal was very good.
I would definitely return.
All within walking distance to local shops & pubs.

Excellent stay, clean, quaint, staff good, Breakfast and dinner was excellent, was disappointed with my Irish coffee, but thats just me.

Room had everything we needed and comfortable sleep. Beautiful views across the water and Town centre is in walking distance (20 mins) We had a good evening meal and breakfast was fine. I have read other reviews that weren't great about the hosts but didn't have any problems to be honest, although maybe it was more perfunctory than friendly compared to other hotels.

Not very welcoming. Owners barely spoke. Seemed very unorganised. Couldn't eat main course, ordered lasagne and it was the worst lasagne I've ever had. Won't be back. Very disappointed as it was a mother's day treat. A shame as location is beautiful. But very outdated.

I have recently returned from staying at the Craigard hotel for work with a couple of colleagues. Very disappointed unfortunately! The staff member was very moody and unwelcoming on our arrival, simply asking our names, giving us our keys, and pointing in the direction of our rooms. I must have drawn the short straw to be given the ground floor room next to entrance door / reception / dining room - disaster! With the 1 inch gap at the bottom of the door, light was streaming through all night and could hear people drinking and laughing late into evening (past 11pm), as well as coming in and leaving at all hours to smoke. Word of advice, request any other room if you dare to book here! The room itself felt dusty and unclean, with tired decoration and flaking wallpaper. Could hear creaking and bangs from floor above. The bathroom appeared recently refurbished and looked more modern than the bedroom, however pretty disgusted when I found hairs on the floor and cracked sink. The shower was hot, although low pressure. Unfortunately didn’t look at the rest of the reviews on here before booking! Would avoid if possible!

Absolutely loved this place , so much history behind the house .. lovely building , fabulous room huge 4 poster bed .. and worth every penny ..
