3-Star Hotels in Camiguin Island

When planning my Camiguin trip, one place stood out on where to stay. Balai is just a few kms. from the town proper and the airport and is suitably located near restaurants as well as to the boats for White Island. I loved the place -- small but secluded, clean, tastefully designed and quiet as its far from the Circumferential Road. The reception staff headed by Rachel was very attentive and helpful as she led and oriented us to our villa. I also had a chance to meet one of the owners Alessandra on the day of our check out. Our villa was spacious and comfy with a strong AC (to counter the summer heat) and of course a delightful private pool. Really enjoyed a night swim with a bright half-moon overhead. Breakfast was a choice of 3 set menus. They had a poolside bar and a restaurant where we did not avail as we opted for outside recommendations. I would definitely and highly recommend this boutique resort especially to honeymooners and couples who are into scuba diving as Alessandra and her hubby are into this activity. I'm sure they'll have a lot to share on this.

A very colorful place to stay esp on a budget for 4pax in a room just big enough for sleeping. Good location in going to white island within walking distance to checkpoint area (urban area with resto n stores/PARAS) and other eastern tourist spots. Located near church and Transpo (motorela) is less than a minute walk to the hiway for the wait. Nice and relaxing ambiance of the garden just outside the room, plenty of area to sit or roam around. FREE WIFI sign on the front desk but staff did not give details upon check-in and waited for us to ask for it. Bfast is available upon request but other alternative meals just outside the resort is also available. Motorcycle rates at the resort are high compared to canvassed online rates available at the airport upon arrival. Left the luggage before going out the next day and the staff is more than willing to safely keep our things outside our rooms for 5pm pick-up.

Located in Catarman, B&B Casa Absuelo is a 2-minute drive from Sto. Nino Cold Spring and 5 minutes from Old Catarman Church Ruins. This bed & breakfast is 3.7 mi (5.9 km) from Tuasan Falls and 3.8 mi (6.1 km) from Camiguin Sunken Cemetery.Take in the views from a terrace and a garden and make use of amenities such as complimentary wireless internet access. I’d like to preface this by saying how much I miss Camiguin and my time at Bintana sa Paraiso! While searching for accommodations, Bintana sa Paraiso in Binunsaran truly stood out to me. Although I explored other options, I was certain that this was where I wanted to stay. Upon my arrival at Camiguin airport, Kuya Chito, their friendly driver, was already there waiting for me. The ride to the property was a quick 10–15 minutes, and from the moment I arrived, I immediately fell in love! (as someone who lives in a building-dominated city, it just always hits different when you’re by nature—mountains, trees, the sea, etc.) The entire place is just as beautiful in person as it looks in the pictures. The views are absolutely stunning and relaxing! (yes, I requested an upper unit for better views 😊, and when I asked if I could be moved to the next unit to the left for even better views, they happily made it happen) Both units I stayed in were nice, comfortable, and had spacious bathrooms! While some amenities differed between the units—for example, one had a TV and a sofa bed while the other included a hairdryer, a full-length mirror, and a ceiling fan—it wasn’t an issue at all for me. Just something to keep in mind if you have specific preferences. There’s Wi-Fi everywhere, though some areas can be spotty. If you’re a remote worker, I’d suggest staying outdoors (on the porch/balcony or in the restaurant) where the connection is more stable. You won’t have to worry about the occasional power outages as they have a generator. You also won’t have to worry about safety, as they have a private guard on duty every night. I enjoyed spending my nights on the balconies, working and then waiting for sunrises. It can get quite chilly up there, though, especially when it’s raining, so I suggest packing some warm layers. Although I didn’t order a drink from their bar, I did enjoy the food selection in their restaurant. Everything was great and portioned for two people. Their Surol? Oh, I'm obsessed! Kuya Dodong, the chef, you're the best. Thank you for setting up the Kawa bath as well :) Now, let me talk about the other staff, who were all wonderful! First, the guys: Jay, the gentle one. He arranged my transfer from one unit to another, which I truly appreciated. When I almost forgot to request a beach towel, Jay was more than prepared and proactively handed it over to me along with bottles of water before I headed out for a tour. Then there’s Arvie, the nice (and good-looking haha) one, who is always ready to assist. He arranged a ride for me one night to Utopia Café. JL, well, he’s the one I had the most conversations with. He not only assisted with my luggage and drove me to Utopia but also took some of my pictures. He even shared some rambutan from their yard—definitely went above and beyond! I didn’t see Drex much during my stay, likely due to his shift schedule, but he was always polite and friendly! Onto the ladies: Kristin, Gretchen, Chelo, and Ma

This beach resort is 5.6 mi (9 km) from Mambajao Parola Park and 6.1 mi (9.8 km) from Benoni Ferry Terminal.This resort offers designated smoking areas.Take advantage of the resort's room service (during limited hours). Local cuisine breakfasts are available daily from 7:30 AM to 10:00 AM for a fee.The front desk is staffed during limited hours. The locals were very simple. When they dropped off, they lost their phones on the car and found them at the airport. One hour and ten minutes before departure, the airport staff immediately asked for help, returned to the hotel immediately with the help car, contacted the hotel to see if the driver remembered the license plate, tried to contact the driver, found multiple people, and finally contacted another driver to inform the driver. Already waiting at the airport with a handcart, immediately flew to the airport. Finally got the phone to catch the plane. Thanks to everyone on the island who helped me!

It is very beautiful here, a green rice field, with the right flowers and plants, and the beach on the other side, the villa is very coordinated overall. Hotel rooms are small, small and beautiful. The garden view villa is like a hanging building, with a bathtub on the balcony, and an outdoor sofa on the balcony on the other side. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, with hot showers, and the balcony can also see the sea view and you can take a walk on the hotel's beach. The hotel has a nest of yellow and white shorthaired cats, very cute. There are also cockroaches and dogs. The waiter was very welcoming and the service was good. Welcome drinks were provided at check-in. The breakfast booked is 350p per serving. You can choose from 5 breakfasts. The category is not rich enough. The Filipino breakfast is mainly served on the balcony. You need to use the instant coffee provided in the room for breakfast. The villa is soundproofed and the drumming outside is heard. The network here is intolerable to me, and the hotel's WIFI24 cannot access the Internet for an hour! The mobile phone Global signal is weak, most of the time can not access the Internet, can not upload documents. During the stay, there was an important remote work. I could take my mobile phone to explore around to see where there was a network signal. It turned out that the global signal of the hotel next to it was very good, and I finished my work outside the hotel next to it. I would not choose here if I knew this network status when booking a room. The hotel introduction page does not provide a truthful description of this network status.

It was a beautiful holiday vacation again here in camiguin and where choice to stay in mabini lodge, everything is absolutely perfect staff is friendly and accommodating as well good ambiance and classy room !!! All I can say it was enjoyable stay in mabini lodge!!! Me and my partner was so much enjoyed stay in place thank you!!!
