This is the second time we have had the pleasure of staying at Old Kinderhook. Front desk staff were outstanding, the resort is quiet and very clean. We enjoy attending shows at the Ozark Amphitheater which is a three-hour drive for us, and we don't want to stay overnight anywhere else!

The resort / lodging overall was fine. Pretty dated but not horrible. Our issue was the scam they run with a shuttle company (they said not really affiliated, but payment was through Old Kinderhook, we wore Old Kinderhook wrist bands and front desk workers loaded bus). In brief we were strongly pushed into using the shuttle to go to a concert at Ozarks Amphitheater. The 'hard sell' was done by Christine at the front desk (who I have no doubt received a kickback). We were told that we couldn't park within a half mile of the facility, that the bus was very comfortable and we would receive free drinks on way the concert - none of this was true. The bus was an old beat up one with no AC (the temp that days was near 95 degree). We were told that they have two busses that run continuously - also not true. After the concert we waited over 90 minutes in sweltering conditions. We were lied to our face by the bus driver who said that there were two buses (there was one bus / one driver). After finally returning to the hotel nearly two hours later and attempting to speak with Christine about the issue, I was completely dismissed and ultimately angrily cussed at by her. I've never been treated by a lodging employee like this before. Completely and totally unprofessional. I highly recommend you avoid the hotel at Old Kinderhook.

I loved the experience the staff was super friendly especially Christine she was pleasant and so sweet. She has such a friendly attitude and made sure everything was just right. Also Walter Fleming was great with helping us book the room. Great place to stay great value and friendly staff.

Worst experience of my life. Booked a room just to be denied upon arrival meanwhile I personally see the security guard get a room for free with his children running around. There is a half dressed elderly woman working a food stand serving drinks and dogs to children with her side boob hanging out. I was under the impression this was a family friendly environment but after my trip Friday I will NOT be retuning snd advise anyone with children to find a different location to stay at as their dress code for elderly is non existent and being denied a room for employees just seems wrong.

I don’t golf, but I wanted to stay somewhere that had a hot tube. We checked in and then realized that the indoor pool was being repainted, so the hottube was close I booked it last week and website never mentioned it being closed. Grounds are nice, but the rooms are just like Hilton Garden Inns with a resort fee.

Christine at the front desk was amazing in helping us out! Our truck had broke down and she let us have a late checkout until we realized we needed to stay another night. She helped take the stress out of the day!! The property is really nice. However the rooms could use some updating.

This is a beautiful golf resort and hotel! Chris W at the front desk and the rest of the staff is so friendly and down to earth. I stayed in a double room with my daughter and our room overlooked some well manicured holes on the course as well as the pool. I sat out on the balcony for hours! The mattress was firm and I thought I'd have a problem with that but it actually made my back feel better than my mattress at home. We ate at The Hook Cafe on the grounds. The price was affordable and the pancakes were HUGE! I would definitely recommend this for a golf trip with friends or for family getaway.

The staff is top notch and accommodating. Christine W. on the front desk went out of her way in being helpful with a member of our party that needed a little extra attention. She certainly made our stay much more enjoyable. Thank you, Christine.
