Pins Platja Apartments

Again, a fabulous holiday from start to finish. A clean apartment with all the essentials. We stayed in a one bed studio with a sea view. Lovely spacious balcony with a clothes rack for drying clothes. The smaller pool was near us and there were always empty sunloungers. Staff were friendly and efficient . A light bulb needed to be replaced and it was sorted within an hour of I reporting it. The receptionist will order a taxi if needed. It's only e38 by taxi from Reus Airport. A lovely supermarket and bakery are a two min. walk away. Loads of places to eat in the locality. The public bus stops beside the accomodation. It's only e2.15 to go either to Cambrils in one direction or to Salou in the other. There's a fabulous prom to walk on adjacent to the accomodation. Highly recommend Pins Platja for a couple/ group of friends or a family holiday.

Part of me wants to give this apartment complex 4.5 stars. It is in a fabulous location. There is no doubt about that. We spent two weeks in Cambrils Park and unexpectedly had to extend our stay in Vilafortuny by a week due to a medical issue. We booked Pins Platja at the last minute & I think 1200 euro mid-July for a one bed self-catering apartment 50m from the beach is not bad at all. It's very hot this year, yet we leave the patio doors open at night for the sea-breeze. It sounds like we're sleeping on the beach, with waves crashing in close proximity. That aspect of Pins Plaja is beautiful. But there are a few issues about which potential visitors should be aware: (1) that beautiful sea sound is over-ridden by Rugby Tavern noise until about 1am. If you open the window to our bedroom, you are literally looking down on the heads of the diners. There are kind of disgusting air-conditioning units on the small balconies, which seep filthy water all day long. There is one washing machine & one dryer for the entire complex. The food is absolutely horrific. For these reasons I've given it three stars. But it really isn't that bad. If beach & location are important, this is easily a Five Star. If you have high standards regarding actual accommodation, then avoid. I must mention also I have found the staff very helpful. The main pool is nice & mercifully free of college students leading the children in the Macarena. The location is Salou-adjacent, if you want to go mad. But far enough away from Salou to avoid encountering either packed beaches or nightclub noise.

Lovely relaxing time, chilled environment and friendly helpful staff especially on reception. We had a beachfront apartment which was brilliant and great value for money. Could do with more brollies round the pool, but we spent most days on the Lovely beach

Stayed in one of the two bedroom apartments, which was very big and was nice and clean. The beach is about 50m away which was excellent. The reception staff are very friendly and helpful! There are quite a few restaurants nearby and there is a shop at the entrance of the hotel which was very convenient. There’s a bus stop a minute or so walk from the hotel and there are always buses passing going to Cambrils or Salou, and are very easy to use. The area is quite quiet which was perfect for me, I would definitely stay here again.
