I had a deeply troubling experience at Cambrils Park Resort involving my 14-year-old son. He was assaulted on the Astro pitch by an older boy, resulting in a a very swollen black eye. Shockingly, staff didn't offer any medical help. To make matters worse, my husband was verbally abused by staff when he tried to address the situation. The staff rather than defusing the situation exacerbated it. Given these serious lapses in safety and staff conduct, I wouldn't recommend this facility and will not be returning. Children should be safe to play football without being assaulted by older kids.

Accommodation was good, it is expensive but clean, comfortable and AC perfect. Also nice to have fresh towels every 3 days and sheets after 7. Pools on site are fine but frustrating you can only have inflatables and balls in 1 v small area of main pool. Makes the pools a bit boring for slightly older kids. There is also generally sun loungers available in pool areas in the afternoon, which is great after the 3 pm reopening. Real let down in this campsite is the food… the only place that food is decent is the chill bar, the other restaurants are a real let down. It leaves you with the only option to head to Cambrils for dinner in the evening. It would also be nice if they showed live sport in other locations. It’s only in the sports bar and it’s only inside, lot of other camps have TVs outside under shade for big sporting events.

I've given Cambrils 4 stars in memory of the great experiences I've had there when my children were younger. But on this - my third visit - I think I've reached the end of my love affair with Cambrils Park. On the plus side, it is extremely safe for children & this was the reason I loved it when the children were younger. We've always stayed in the Alohas & were lucky other years to have good locations. I found our bungalow depressing this year & it felt like we were in a shanty town. The food remains very poor quality, although they have made efforts to improve it. Cambrils Park is a fabulous location for very young children. And also for those with mobility issues as everything is in such easy reach & the pathways are well maintained & even. The bar is also irritating, but perhaps it is Irish people who are odd; maybe the whole rest of the world stands one behind another in a queue waiting to order a drink. But it alien to me & makes me think the staff wouldn't survive a night in a Dublin pub. Cambrils is great fun. Chocolate is great fun, but can ultimately leave you feeling a bit empty. Maybe it's just time to move on

This is our 5th visit but first booking via eurocamp, we booked Polynesian bungalows but the area we are in is very built up and unkempt, I would recommend booking directly with cambrils so you can pick your slot. As always cambrils overall is bliss, but food offerings are not great, for the efforts that goes into it

We really enjoyed our first 'EuroCamp' holiday. The bungalow accommodation was first class - smallish, but very clean with excellent WIFI, and a nice wee outdoor area to relax, read or eat/drink in. Everything quietens down before 11pm which affords young families to get a good night's sleep. The pools were all great, as were the sports facilities. The supermarket and bakery are very welcome additions too. There's a big Mercadona five minutes walk away which is also fantastic for all self-caterers. The various restaurants cater for all tastes - from fast food to really tasty paella and fish dishes. The only negative I would flag would be the lack of sun parasols for the poolside sunbeds. I counted about 25 (much sought after) umbrellas at the main pool, when 100 (even temporary ones) would have allowed a lot more families to get some much-needed shade from the sun. Staff are very friendly, although they could have added a few more bar servers at the busy poolside bar every afternoon. The (€4) gym is good, if a little small when more than a few folk are looking to work out. Daily fitness classes are first class. The beach is a 10 minute walk, and the sea water is magical. Reus airport is a 15 minute taxi (€40) ride away. Cambils Port is stunning and well worth a visit to eat or shop. (Avoid nearby Salou like the plague, though.) Both are connected by a coastal walkway. We will definitely come back to Cambrils x

Our 5th time there and we loved it. Stayed in the new villa bonitas and they were very spacious and perfect. The main dining/bar area has been upgraded since our last stay. It looks well, but not sure it enhances the customer experience. At peak hours of 8:30-10 ish there is quite simply an unacceptable queue for the bar every night. There are loads of Irish people willing to spend money so consider extra staff to manage this period. We heard lots of people complaining and very frustrated over this. In the main sitting area you have to be eating food otherwise you have to sit inside the bar for drinks. Previously this was more open to the outside but now there are glass screens/doors that are closed which means you can’t enjoy the entertainment. Suggest opening more of these screens/doors. I see lots of complaints around the pool with regard to families throwing towels over sunbeds and not turning up for an hour or two later. Please sort this out, the pool area is not that big and the staff member that stops people entering the area can just stay for 30 mins after counsel people on this. There could be some notices put up and a leaflet given out to people when they book in. We were down every morning at 10am and only once did we get a bed beside the pool, as people had thrown towels over them with pegs and were nowhere to be seen until midday. It would be quite easy to try and manage this a little better. These are the only two negatives in what is a wonderful resort that never fails to deliver on a great holiday experience. We will be back.

The resort itself is a great place to go for families . Prepare for bungalows to be a little cramped with luggage etc but they are ample for what you need from them. Full equipped kitchen. Only main complaint is around the evening drinks service . Place is full of Irish and we all like to have a few drinks in the evening but a 30 minute queue for the bar is unacceptable. I’ve been to all inclusive resorts where bar service has been exceptional and when paying for drinks service should be a lot better. Staff working are doing their best but the hotel needs to review this especially for peak season. No table service available .
