It is the most comfortable hotel I stayed in during this trip to the UK. The room was larger than equivalent hotels in London and the bedding was very good. The most important thing is that the breakfast experience is great. The waiters and ladies are full of Cambridge temperament. When ordering food, the food is excellent.

The Fellows House comes out of nowhere as there is a ton of construction going on in front of it. However, don't let that fool you as the entrance is around a few left hand turns and then you hit reception. Stephanie immediately took care of us. Our room was being readied and we had a small bite at the cafe near the main door. Ali, from Uzbekistan took care of us. Great attitude, service and spoke really well. The room was very comfortable and the bed was huge. The bathroom was super clean and everything worked with a press of a button and turn of dial. Great sanitation facilities. The pool, steam room and sauna were also excellent, plus the gym was very decent. For breakfast the next day, Pam, Dolly, Dada, etc. treated us really well and the assortment of food was ample. When we checked out, Ashutosh made the experience smooth and trouble free. He called us a car to pick us up and take us back to the train station as we headed back to London, after having dinner the night before at The Ivy (very good too). If you're headed to Cambridge, please stay at this hotel. Highly recommended, Debs and Dave

This is a modern and clean hostel ,the staff are friendly ,kind and considerate, and listened patiently to my several and widely varied questions . I found out more from the reception here than the tourist information in Cambridge town centre (which is absolutely useless). The rooms are clean as are the showers and toilets .The food is good but a full breakfast is £9.95 and often you are only permitted 1 slice of bacon ,1 hash brown and 1 sausage which is financially poor value . Wetherspoons in Cambridge has a large breakfast for £7.95 but is a bit of a walk from the hostel. The location is good about 10-15 minutes from the railway station where there are other eating outlets . the self catering kitchen is good and there are kettles there to make your own hot drinks or bring takeaway food in if you wash and clean up afterwards .There is a lounge with books and board games and a tv with all the normal terrestrial channels. Parking in Cambridge is very controlled ,limited and expensive .I parked at the park and ride on Madingley road day return tickets are £3.50 and single tickets are £2.00. The park and ride bus service P+R 1 will only take you to st Andrews street (outside John Lewis) and there you must get another bus or face a 20/25 minute walk. The charge to park is about £10 per 24 hours booked over the phone. Parking near the hostel is on the road and is limited (Devonshire road) it is paid hourly by machine max 2 Hours or free after 5.00pm until 9.00am and free all day Sundays . Devonshire road is accessed by using the ring road and going down mill road (beware of the one way system.)

Title: A Stellar Experience at This Exceptional Hotel
I recently had the pleasure of staying at this outstanding hotel, and I am more than pleased to share my delightful experience.
The environment of the hotel is nothing short of impressive. Nestled in an exquisitely landscaped setting, the hotel boasts an ambiance that perfectly blends sophistication with tranquility. The interiors are tastefully designed, radiating warmth and comfort. The cleanliness throughout the premises is commendable - from the plush guest rooms to the common areas, every nook and cranny exudes a sense of freshness and hygiene. The peaceful surroundings coupled with top-notch facilities made my stay truly rejuvenating.
As for its location, it couldn’t be more ideal. Strategically situated in the heart of the city, the hotel offers easy access to major tourist attractions, business hubs, as well as shopping and dining destinations. Its prime location turned out to be a significant advantage during my trip, saving me considerable time on commuting and allowing me to explore the city effortlessly.
The check-in process was seamless and straightforward. Upon arrival, I was greeted by the courteous and professional front desk staff who swiftly processed my paperwork. Their use of advanced technology expedited the check-in procedure, making it a hassle-free experience. They were attentive to my needs and provided clear instructions, which made my first encounter with the hotel quite memorable.
In summary, this hotel excels not only in providing a serene and luxurious environment but also in offering a convenient and central location. The efficient and user-friendly check-in process further enhanced my overall experience. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a comfortable and enjoyable stay. It’s truly a gem that combines the best of service, location, and ambience.
I look forward to returning to this fine establishment on my next visit.

Given the £150 a night pricing and established brand name, I was unhappy to spend a combined 5 hours queuing to speak to front desk RE a pre-booking query - when they finally answered after 90 minutes wait on my 5th attempt I was immediately hung up on. I booked the ”more with your stay” option which includes parking and nothing more. Further issues occurred at check-in when they attempted to charge me £15 for parking anyway. I explained that this wasn't correct, showing them my booking confirmation and explaining that parking was included as I had confirmed pre-booking. Despite confirming that I wouldn't be charged, I was still subsequently charged £15 necessitating a further call back from myself to resolve. The stay itself was comfortable, the hotel, rooms and facilities are nice and fairly well cleaned.

We stayed at Holiday Inn for 2 nights between May 30 - June 1 2023. Overall the hotel was great and we had a pleasant stay, we had planned to visit the town center and look at the history of Cambridge thus the location was important to us. It was only a short drive (5 mins) to the centre where we could go punting, shopping and to the universities, museums and gardens. We included breakfast in our stay, which I would highly recommend there was a great selection of foods and the pancake machine was a huge win for us. The only thing we were disappointed with was the fact that dressing robes and waters which are usually complimentary in other hotels we have visited, were not included in the room for free and when we asked we were told we could drink the water from the bathroom, which was not pleasant but other factors such as the fact our room was cleaned regularly and the amazing breakfast did make up for this.

The hotel was a little bit further than I expected from the town centre. There is a bus route that can go to the town but it's up to a 10 min walk. It would be great if the hotel provided at least a shuttle service because taxis were also quite expensive just for a few miles. The hotel itself was presentable, the staff was helpful and nice, and the rooms were also spacious enough and clean with all the usual amenities. My room had the disabled bathroom so it was a little bigger I think but the drainage needs sorting out because the whole floor almost flooded with water. The heating A/C was working well and quiet. Breakfast the next morning was included in the price and the choice was basic but enough. I did feel that the plate was smaller than many other places I've stayed at but I guess that was to avoid food waste. They had scambled egg only, sausages, bacon, beans, toast, tea/coffee/juice, 3 cereals and spreads for toast-not bad but could be a little better in variety.

Excellent
LlukaszNo bed for third person made up, called receptionist I was told someone will come and do it, this was at 19:00 no one ever came, even after following up over the phone. I spent night sleeping without bedding, on plain sofa bed without a single pillow. Terrible experience and poor service. Not enough towels, just for one person & again after calling reception- I was told that they ran out of towels!!! This was enough for my family to bare after whole day of travel, especially the room booked was Executive one. So expected to be up to highest standard and service to be over the top, this isn’t the case. Cleanliness is very poor - see pictures. Dust everywhere and this wasn’t one day worth. After asking for partial refund due to poor service, I was given a silly look and smile, advised to sent email online. Do not bother going there.
GGuest UserGreat location, lovely clean and friendly hotel with comfortable beds which enable a nice sleep after a long day. The breakfast selection is very good 10/10!
GGerry_xgThe hotel is a very beautiful manor in the suburbs about 10km from Cambridge. There should be cows and sheep on the grassland in summer. I was attracted by other people's beautiful pictures when I made the reservation. After I checked in, I found it was really good, but I had to drive by myself and check in for free. The room was remodeled from the original dormitory, not quite but adequate, no air conditioning, slightly colder, breakfast quality is good, the environment is first-rate, it is recommended
AAnonymous UserThis hotel will charge a health fee of 65 pounds, which is higher than the room rate. Be careful when booking! I arrived at the hotel on the day of check-in and told me about the hotel maintenance, and arranged me to another ... In short, it is not recommended!
This hotel will charge £65 cleaning fee,and it is unrefundable. This cleaning fee is even higher than the house rate!
Lovely stay at The Waterman. Although there is a pub downstairs we didn’t make use of it as we had other plans. Warm greeting at check in and given keys to our room. Very comfortable room and very quiet. Breakfast the following morning was great, very friendly chatty and speedy service. We left our bags so we could explore Cambridge and picked them up later. Excellent bus service into the city or a 15 minute walk. A lovely relaxing couple of days in a beautiful historic city made all the more enjoyable by the guys at The Waterman. Highly recommended
JJessieThe hotel needs to take a train from Cambridge. The train station is behind the hotel. My 14-year-old son has a round-trip ticket for a total of £7. The hotel is very convenient and not noisy! There is a large parking lot and a parking fee of 5 pounds is required! The hotel is very convenient for self-drivers. It is less than ten minutes drive to the Imperial War Museum IWM. Many planes and tanks during World War II and World War II are worth seeing!
SShiyuexihongshiThe door is small and the space is unbelievably used. The parking lot is large.
The room is clean and it is difficult to dry a clothes.
The highlight is breakfast, very rich and delicious
In short, very close to Cambridge, can run along the river every day, wonderful three days
GGuest UserWe went for spa usage and facilities and was disappointed to find out swimming pool and spa were closed on Saturday @ 7pm. We then went around 8am on sunday only for one third of the swimming pool being closed for a few children’s swim class. The pool was already pretty small and it wasn’t as calm or relaxing any more as children were splashing etc. it’s a shame but I think the hotel needs to really allow longer hours for people to enjoy a more relaxed time in swimming pool for longer hours.
旅旅客視窗Cambridge Ramada Hotel is very convenient. There is free parking and fast food downstairs. McDonald's, KFC and Marks & Spencer are all very convenient. The parking lot can accommodate many vehicles. We parked inside. The hotel service is good and there are meals. We have a self-service room on the second floor. It's very big. There are three of us. We were given a four-bed room. It's very comfortable. But there's just no elevator and you have to go up the stairs to get your luggage. Everything else is perfect. Thank you. I'll stay here again if I have the chance.
GGuest UserIt is the largest hotel in the UK. It has a fully equipped kitchen. There is a Chinese super nearby. You can satisfy your Chinese stomach by buying and cooking. The special thing about this hotel is self-check-in. The landlord leaves the key in the password box at the door. Open the door and check in. Leave the key in the password box when you leave, and you don't see the waiter throughout. Very close to Cambridge University, just a few minutes walk
