Despite the slightly tired looking exterior, this is an excellent choice if you want a hotel in Cambridge, with parking, and walking distance to the city centre. Our room was on the ground floor but facing the rear and was very peaceful. The room is quite small but everything worked, it was exceptionally clean and comfortable, and the shower water pressure was fantastic. Breakfast, included in our package, was very very good. Plenty of choice and the cooked food was served on piping hot plates. Best of all, Jackie and Jan, the two wonderful ladies who served us. Actually they did more than serve, they made our breakfast memorable and warm. I hope these two ladies are well regarded by the hotel management, as we really want to return based upon their personal and very welcoming characters. Lovely, lovely ladies. In case you didn’t realise, we thoroughly recommend this hotel.

The reception insisted I have not paid the room and she charged my debit card. Later on she realized she made a mistake when I showed her the payment record (to Trip.com) and then she refunded to me. Very poor check in experience

1. Although the facilities are a bit old, the layout is very warm. 2. The staff are friendly and even fold the customers' clothes neatly. 3. The breakfast is good and very English. 4. The location is good and very close to Cambridge Boating Point. 5. Free parking. In short, it is very cost-effective.

Overall, the accommodation was pretty good. I stayed for one night for the convenience of visiting Cambridge. The hotel is very close to the boating place, which is very convenient. The hotel facilities are a bit old, the flush toilet doesn't work very well, and the bathroom fan is too loud, but everything else is fine. The room is clean and the breakfast is good. There are cold food on site, and you can also order some hot food on site, such as bacon, sausage, bread, omelettes, etc.

The hotel is small and exquisite. The location is excellent. It is a 15-minute walk from Cambridge University and a 10-minute walk from Cam River. There are supermarkets, bars and local specialty restaurants around. The service attitude is warm and the breakfast is very delicious.

It is the best experience to have breakfast here, the service and scenery are first-class, and the food is rich. Just a few steps away is the River Cam. Will stay again next time.

When booking the room, it was written that the reception was before 22:00, but when we arrived at 21:10, there was no one at the front desk, so we had to walk another 15 minutes to another place to check in, which added to the fatigue of the journey. 😩 And I couldn’t understand the Indian and Pakistani English on the phone. In fact, I could have sent an email to inform them.

There is a small yard behind the hotel where you can park for free, which is better. The bathroom is relatively large, but the room is small. Breakfast is better, but the same price for children seems to be 12.5 pounds.

The hotel as a whole is very exquisite and simple, and the price/performance ratio, room size and practicality are extremely high!

The doorway is small, making incredible use of space. The parking lot is large. The room is clean, it’s hard to hang clothes to dry The highlight is the breakfast, which is very rich and delicious In short, it is very close to Cambridge and you can run along the river every day. It was a wonderful three days.

The breakfast is very good, the bath water is very comfortable, and the hardware is not as expected in China. If you are used to wearing slippers when bathing, it is recommended to bring your own.

The room was small and had a damp smell. The soundproofing was also very poor at night. I was very sleepy due to jet lag, and now I couldn't sleep. It’s impossible to stay here again, and I don’t recommend others to stay there either.

I have been in the UK for a few days and I have stayed in the largest and most comfortable room. Maybe because foreigners like bathing too much, there is no shower. I can only wash my hair with my cat waist.

A small hotel with a total of 17 rooms. The rooms are warmly decorated. The European breakfast is quite filling. The hotel reception staff are very friendly. Just leave the door key at the front desk when you check out. The hotel location is very close to Kangqiao.
