Travelodge Cambridge Central Hotel

The staff was helpful and accommodating. It was very close to few supermarkets and couple of restaurants which was convenient . The rooms were clean

I stayed for two nights at the travelodge Cambridge central whilst on a work trip. It was easy to get to from the station and I was able to leave my bag with the team until I checked in. The room was clean and spacious. The bed was very comfortable and air con wonderful. Overall a very great stay in a comfy hotel. The team were polite and efficient.

If you’re looking for a budget hotel near Cambridge train station I can recommend the Travelodge Cambridge Central Hotel. The hotel is located in a complex with several supermarkets and a number of eateries giving a number of eating options if you didn’t want to eat at the hotel. The bedroom was clean and comfortable with well functioning air conditioning which was very appreciated on the warm days I was there. There are 4 USB-A sockets by the bed and 4 others dotted around the room, although two would usually be filled by the kettle and the TV. At times it felt like there wasn’t enough staff on duty but every time I needed someone I was able to find someone within a few moments. The only thing that I particularly disliked is the process for signing up for the WiFi. this costs £3.50 to connect 2 devices for 24 hours. Once online the WiFi worked well however.
