Room was spacious, clean and well equipped. Ben the manager was very friendly and helpful and made a great landlord in the pub. Had a cooked breakfast in the morning which set us up for the day. Great value for money in this area, and will definitely stay again. Please ignore the older reviews as it’s under new management and refurbished.

Ideal We arrived later than we had planned but received a warm welcome from the hosts. We had the family room which is a good size, well decorated, warm and comfortable. The accomodation was spotless. We didnt eat there but will need to be in Cambridge in aroun 6 months time, so hoping we can stay again. Great value for money. Highly recommended.

Good food, comfortable pub with a lovely wood burner. We had the sourdough and salted butter, the mackerel pate and the Korean chicken. All very good. For mains we had the fish and chips, burger and mushroom risotto. The mains wee good but felt that the risotto was a little watery, I wouldn’t order again. The sticky toffee pudding was very good for pudding. It’s a great pub, always warm and welcoming with great big car park too which is helpful. Highly recommend and will return many more times no doubt.

The room was clean and that’s about it the bed was uncomfortable cheap mattress shower didn’t work properly no bowl for the breakfast wouldn’t stay here again

Just a quiet clean room, exactly what we needed. A pub just like 5 steps away with excellent people giving us a very warm welcome. Felt at ease straight away.

Cottage hotel room Nice cottage room, beautiful outside seating area and flower boxes. Quite low ceiling pub. Was cold in the night and morning though, and couldn’t turn on any heating! Breakfast continental good products, although could’ve done with one of those little box of cereals. Floor and shower could’ve done with being more clean. Excellent value for money!
