This is a great little independent hotel close to the heart of Cambridge that has a real touch of luxury for a very affordable price. We had a great time. Lovely drinks in the afternoon, followed by trip into Cambridge and everyone was very friendly. Only slight downside was that the breakfast was, perhaps a little underwhelming rather than that we really really enjoyed our stay.

The hotel's location is excellent. I arrived around 1:00 PM, and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. They arranged for an early check-in, allowing me to store my luggage in my room and promptly begin my exploration of Cambridge.

The room was exceptionally clean and well-maintained, making us feel comfortable and relaxed throughout our visit. The customer service at the front desk was top-notch – a solid 10/10. The staff were incredibly helpful, accommodating, and always ready to assist with any requests or questions we had. The location of the hotel was perfect for our plans. Many of the places we wanted to visit, such as Cambridge University, the Cambridge Mosque, town centre were just a short 10-15 minute drive away. It made exploring the city so convenient and enjoyable. The breakfast provided by the hotel was excellent, with a good variety of options to suit all tastes. The sitting area was clean and pleasant, adding to the overall great experience. Overall, our stay at the Holiday Inn Express Cambridge was very enjoyable. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Cambridge!

I was disappointed that my room was not cleaned, nor bed made, after my first night. The sign requesting not to be disturbed was hanging on the door handle inside the room. I only discovered the note instructing me to hang another sign, found with the towels on a chair in the room, on the outside handle requesting ”new towels”, if I wanted the room serviced. If the cleaners do not enter the room unless there is a visible request for new towels, what is the necessity of a sign requesting not to be disturbed? No one is going to come in. I fully understand the advantages of not replacing the towels every day - and endorse that. But I would have liked to be clearly informed of the note in the paper that came with my room ”key”.

The room is good it is just next to Hyatt hotel but this hotel offered the kitchen room withall sorts equipment’s knifes folks spoons it has an oven It has dishwasher It has wash machine Very convenient

A clean room in medium size with cozy bed. Sometimes a bit noisy as the hotel is tens of meters away from the train station. Hotel with its own restaurant and a sitting. Restaurants are around and a supermarket is right opposite.

Room is small and little bit old fashion style, this hotel is a historical hotel so it doesn’t affect it’s beauty. The room with Park view that awesome, pay 333 pounds per night is ok for the value!! breakfast is good and the hotel is in the town center so it’s very easier to get whatever you want, don’t stay at the hotel near the railway station because it’s still has a distance to the city center!! hotel allowed free bicycle renting service, that’s so nice!!

A nice hotel located in Eddington in Cambridge, a quiet and safe community without much visitors to disturb, worth to choose and definitely come back next time when having a trip in Cambridge.

The hotel is located in the northern part of Cambridge, about a 15-minute walk from the city centre. The facilities appear well-maintained, and the interior decoration is charming, particularly in the restaurant. However, the noise insulation is poor, and you can clearly hear footsteps and conversations in the hallway. It's unfortunate if you happen to encounter loud or inconsiderate guests, as the noise can be quite disruptive, especially late at night. If that happens, do call the front desk and they will try to intervene - but still, whether it will work highly depends on the behaviour of those guests.
