Cambria Landing Inn and Suites

We booked this hotel because it advertised its hot tubs as a main amenity. Upon arrival, we learned that they were out of order - with one of them being open but without jets. The other tub with jets was out of order because another guest used it and had all of their swimwear bleached. The hotel said we can walk a few hotels down and use the hot tub at that hotel, but there was only one to share and it was busy most of the week. On top of this, we paid extra for the suite and it had a strong stench on the first day. It aired out by the 2nd or 3rd day. We also learned that housekeeping did not happen everyday unless you requested it. We didn’t know how to request it other than talking to the front desk. Each day we walked down to the front, there was no one at the desk. Also, our toilet had like comedically low water pressure, so we weren’t comfortable using our restroom for anything more than going number 1. The wifi was really spotty as well & Cambria doesn’t have good data reception. We just felt like for the price, it was not quite up to par at least for what our expectations were going into our trip & based off of the website. It was our baby moon trip and we were there for 4 nights. After not being able to reach anyone at the front desk day after day, I texted their number that was available to guests to enhance their experience, but they still haven’t gotten back to me. On a positive note, the one interaction we had with what I’m assuming is the manager (David?) on the first day when we checked in was pleasant. He was very kind and energetic.

Room was filthy! Didn’t notice stains on mattress cover until we were checking out!! Totally Grossed Out! Bathroom was gross as floor and bathroom weren’t clean! Screen to balcony had holes and window frame was filthy. Heater vent had dirt and grime. Pressured to leave by cleaning crew!! Never will I stay here again. Motel 6 would have been better! Overpriced rundown hotel!

Amazing experience. Staff was friendly, personable, attentive and organized. Room was clean and beds comfortable. Loved my experience.
