We checked out early the next morning on the 4th and continued on our way. Less than an hour after leaving the hotel, my family remembered that they had left a diamond necklace in the room. I immediately contacted the hotel via phone, email, and Ctrip platform. During the contact process, the Ctrip platform actively cooperated, but the hotel kept saying that nothing was found. Because they needed to rush to the next destination to handle matters, they did not immediately turn around and go back to the hotel to discuss. We deliberately drove 4 hours back to the hotel on the 5th, hoping to talk to the hotel's housekeeper in person, because we left the necklace on the morning of check-out, and saw that the housekeeper came in to clean it. After returning to the hotel, the manager said that the cleaning staff had finished get off work. Due to privacy concerns, I also understood that they could not provide me with the contact information of the cleaning staff. In the end, we returned without success. The family self-identified the missing location of the necklace, and I knew the chances of finding it were slim.
