Waterview Resort

The Waterview Resort is the ideal place with the ideal location to stay. The management team are a dream and the units we have stayed in over the years have all been very comfortable and well maintained. If you are going to Caloundra do yourself a favour and try The Waterview because you won't regret it. One thing though .....recently noticed that The Waterview is listing a 2nd Floor unit for the same cost as a penthouse unit ?? Apparently the listed 2nd floor unit is fully renovated, however, for the same money, do yourself another favour, if you can stay in one of the penthouse units try it out and I am sure you won't regret that choice either. Not only do the penthouse units have spectacular views and very comfortable indeed , each has its own rooftop deck area to relax and unwind ( added bonus - 2 car parking spaces with the penthouse units)

Once again we chose to stay at this beautiful location and have to say that we were not disappointed. The Managers have settled in beautifully and must take credit for the changes they have and are making. The freshly painted entrance and hallways to the beautiful gardens topped off the endless views from our balcony. Thank you Jason and Ella.

Scammers they charged us 500 dollars for something we didn’t do the place is bad for kids as well please do go here they are no good an every thing is very cheep They are rude as well!! If you have a family don’t come here they even said to NOT to JUMP in a pool they are terrible do not come here

Third time we have stayed at Waterview. The best views in Caloundra. Love staying at this resort which is spotlessly clean, great managers, fabulous access to the beach, restaurants, sunday market etc. We have already booked our next visit

We stayed in apartment 6 for two weeks and found it had everything we needed, kitchen, washer and dryer, comfy beds, air con and amazing views and sunsets from the balconies! It was a great size for us (2 couples) and so handy to town or beach, could walk everywhere but also a short drive to malls and so many things to see and do! The hosts were the best, customer service was above and beyond, happy to answer any questions and they made us feel very welcome. We look forward to staying there again!

We stayed on the top floor penthouse 3 bedroom apartment early Jan. 2022. Pro’s *Own private rooftop sunrise/sunset views *3 balcony’s on main floor *2 bathrooms *Fully equipped kitchen *Perfect location *A/C in every room Con’s *Fridge broke, had to resort to buying ice and using eskies *Beds hard as bricks *Pillows like bricks *Limited bedding *dryer filter and roller caked in lint, well overdue a clean. *Squeaky external louver over bedroom window keeps you up all night Overall Great spot and the room was really nice although it feels more like a privately rented apartment rather than a hotel. The bedding and linen needs to be updated for the high price you pay you would expect a little more luxury, no shower items including face washes. No dish detergent. Hopefully the they get some grease on those louvers.. seems petty but getting constantly woken up then trying to sleep again on the hard mattress and pillows .sigh.. would I stay again? Same condition. No. Luxury mattress and bedding, yes. Cleanliness 2/5 Location 5/5 Staff - friendly yet not interested in feedback so based on that I expect they won’t bother fixing these issues. 2/5
