Elba Palace Golf Boutique Hotel has the potential to be an outstanding establishment, however on my visit it was not perceived as a 5-star hotel.
I arrived on a Saturday, and the spa was not available.
On Sunday the pool was closed for renovations - when I enquired I was told all guests were informed prior to their stay - regrettably I was not informed.
The spa still not available.
The food served in the breakfast room was not appetising at all, so I resorted to the fruit, however the watermelon was spoilt as well.
Dinner was a good variety, however after the second and third day it became apparent that previous desserts were being rotated and dressed differently to appear as a 'new' variety.
On Tuesday, the orange fruit at breakfast was once again spoilt, and I landed up being sick.
Besides the above, the room service staff and a few other staff members were exceptional...pity about the facilities on site.

Went for a golf holiday here in April 2025. The hotel is absolutely lovely, not a large hotel so gives a wonderful environment to relax and enjoy. The staff are exceptional, looking after everyone and making a happy atmosphere. The golf course is challenging, but good scores are possible once you have learnt how to plot your way round the course!!

El hotel no está a la altura de un 5 estrellas, El buffe siempre las mismas cosas y poca elaboración. El desayuno más de lo mismo producto congelados y nada de elaboración. Un hotel de 5 estrellas tiene que ofrecer al cliente producto elaborados y menos de sacar del plástico y poner.. No vuelvo y no lo recomiendo. Además hotel antiguo y dejado a la mano de dios. Las 5 estrellas se las dieron en la apertura..... ahora debería de revisar esta categoría ya que ahora parece un 3 estrellas. Vergüenza de servicio.

Sehr nette Empfang mit einem Glas Cava. Wir hatten eine kleine Suite zur Straße. Es war bei insgesamt sehr ruhig und die konnten die Abendsonne genießen. Das Zimmer ist etwas altbacken eingerichtet, aber insgesamt sehr schön und komplett. Was nicht gut funktionierte, war am Anfang das Zimmermädchen. Starke altes Geschirr wurde belassen, eigentlich wurde am Anfang nur das Bett gemacht und neue Handtücher hingelegt.Auf unsere Beschwerde reagierte das Hotel prompt und perfekt. Wir bekamen eine Flasche Sekt aufs Zimmer und ein nettes, kleines Entschuldigungsschreiben. Das Zimmer wurde anschließend komplett auf den Kopf gestellt und im Best Zustand hinterlassen. An dieser Stelle nochmals Dank, für den perfekten Umgang mit einer Beschwerde. Ansonsten zeigte sich das Personal auch in allen Bereichen durch eine sehr große Freundlichkeit aus. Das Frühstück war Standard. Wir hatten Halbpension und das Abendessen war mit einem sehr abwechslungsreichen Buffet und den Hauptgang aus der Karte absolut ausreichend und von sehr guter Qualität. Von der Hotellobby aus gibt es einen direkten Durchgang zu Golf Rezeption. Auch hier extrem freundlich und hilfsbereit. Insgesamt von mir eine volle Empfehlung und wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Fuimos de visita a conocer las instalaciones para celebrar nuestra boda allí. La atención fue exquisita y aprovechamos para picar algo en el bar. Unas vistas increíbles al campo golf. Queríamos una boda de tarde noche y quizás por eso no lo celebremos allí pero hasta estamos valorando cambiarlo por disfrutar de ese patio canario. Aunque no celebremos allí la boda volveremos! Una vez más, y van 16. Destacar, como siempre, la tranquilidad que se respira en el hotel, en la piscina, ... pero, ante todo, la calidad de todos los miembros del mismo. Se desviven por uno en todo momento. A la cabeza de todos, la queridísima subdirectora, Pilar. Como he dicho otras veces, el alma del hotel. Sin duda, Volveré en breve.

Just returned from The Elba Palace following multiple visits. The hotel is exceptionally run and meets all our requirements. Breakfast and dinner are both good in nice environments. We were staying for 2 weeks and the hotel was full. We requested to change rooms to a pool/golf course view with balcony which was accommodated within 2 days. This was professionally dealt with a minimum of fuss. Ali oversees a great team. The staff work continuously hard and are a credit to the hotel. Theresa and Yamila work tirelessly at breakfast and always with a smile. A mention for Andrea, Aneta, Tania, Nuria, and Angel who are friendly and professional. Pool area is relaxing with lots of loungers. We are looking to book our return next year. Carol & Martin

We spent a week at the Elba Palace Golf Hotel. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious, luxurious and well equipped. The hotel is on the golf course and we played every day. We were half board. The buffet breakfast was comprehensive and delicious. Dinner was a lovely experience. The appetisers/starters and desserts/cheeses were an arranged in a delightful buffet but the main meal was served at the table from the a la carte menu. There was also a specials themed menu nightly. Following golf we some times had snacks/drinks in bar/restaurant overlooking the golf course. We used the jacuzzi/spa ( which could be booked in hour slots) to relax and it was warm enough to sit around the pool during the day. Although the pool temperature was quite brisk. There was also a paddle board court available to use. A complimentary shuttle bus ran to Calle Fuste but taxis were only €5/6. The staff throughout the hotel were pleasant and welcoming and the staff at reception were helpful. Thank you for a lovely holiday, we are looking forward to spending another fabulous holiday at the Elba Palace again.
