Casthotels Fuertesol Bungalows

Lots of 🪳 cockroaches in my room 3 the first night 2 the second night then they said I could change my room if I wanted to or I could spray my room so instead of repacking my case and unpacking it again I decided to stay where I was so I went back and sprayed my room witch worked for the next 3 nights butthen I had 2 more in the last 2 nights I was in room 370

The bungalows are in an excellent location but basic, ideal for getting your head down, shower etc. However, remember to shut all windows and doors before you go out as I got burgled gaining access through the bathroom window. The staff spoke very limited English and therefore I could not get any help.

Great serviced bungalows. The best location could have asked for. There was a couple of disappointments but I’m not going to focus on those because it hasn’t changed my opinion on the Fuertesol at all. To start we arrived and receptionist was very friendly. Just upon arrival the reception area was very clean. It features a room to keep suitcases but also filled with great books in various languages. The main reception area has toilets (very clean) and a cigarette machine. Moving towards the pool area and walkway to bungalows there’s 2 machines, one for snacks and drinks (available 24/7) and a coffee machine (available 24/7) which was a really nice touch as reception hours are only 8AM-9PM. I read reception is 24/7 but this isn’t the case. Although we stayed in march 2025 so might be different in high season. Bungalows are extremely clean. Yes quite basic but has everything we needed. Fridge/Flatscreen TV/sofa bed/kettle/microwave and a hob set for cooking. The bathroom again was very clean and shower pressure was amazing to our surprise. Yes the bungalows are a little outdated but nothing that put us off at all. Moving towards the bedrooms have very large wardrobes and 2 single beds pushed together. The beds are quite hard but I liked that. Only get 1 pillow but I folded mine in half and wasn’t an issue at all. WiFi was hit and miss but they told us this at reception due to the high winds we had. Bedrooms also included a safe which you pay a deposit and get back on departure. With the negative reviews given to Fuertesol clearly was expecting a 5* hotel. The one thing that I wasn’t fond of was the pool, it was quite dirty and wasn’t cleaned at all for the entirety of our stay (1 week) but in saying this. It didn’t stop me using it. The pool bar closes at 3:30PM but lunch options are limited but tasty. As the same for the breakfast. We paid for it and it was lovely. Pool area was great and spacious. We will definitely be returning this year. As I say bungalows are an amazing space and very homely. Towels was only changed once and cleaning was offered once for the entirety of the week. I also enjoyed being under the flight path. Was nice to watch the planes land/takeoff. But that’s something I personally enjoy.
