Apartamentos Villa Florida

One of the best apartments we have stayed at. We asked to move apartments when we arrived, this only took 10 minutes to arrange, we met 2 receptionists during our stay and both couldn't have been more helpful. The apartment was cleaned every other day and fresh towels provided. We had issues with the Wifi and yet again the receptionist ( male ) was really helpful. We aren't pool people so we couldn't comment on the pool or pool bar. We would highly recommend these apartments, we stayed 1 week and would definitely go back.

Apartment was extremely clean and was cleaned every other day. Towels were changed and bins emptied at same time. The staff were amazing; always friendly and very helpful. The pool area is beautiful with plenty of sun loungers and a good wee pool bar. I would definitely recommend for families or couples. There is a room you can book to have a shower or get changed if you have a late flight and lockers to store cases. There’s also a washing machine and drier in the room. The apartments are ideally situated for reaching shops, bars, restaurants, the beach and the marina. Absolutely fantastic!!!

Nice clean complex,well lit in the evenings,quite pretty. Ground floor room a bit dark,table and chairs on patio,but not much sun. microwave,fridge freezer,ironing board and iron ,flat screen TV with 4 UK channels,air con . Bedroom had a ceiling fan,good wardrobe space,blackout curtains Bathroom was fine,large mirror+ magnifying mirror and hairdryer Pool area was nice but small.not enough for the complex,so was difficult to get a sunbed. Pool bar opened a few hours per day,closed on Saturday Unfortunately the independent bar owner was arrogant,not friendly and overcharged. Villa Florida is close to all the bars,shops and restaurants,which are very reasonably priced. Caleta de fuste is quite nice but needs a clean up,looks a bit scruffy.

Stayed here for two weeks in March 2025, it was fairly late when we arrived so we went to our apartment which was upstairs and settled ourselves in. We decided to go Self catering for a change. The kitchen was very small but adequate enough for us as we like to eat out for dinner. We were pleased with the bathroom and shower as it was quite roomy with a walk-in shower. The sitting room is a good size with table and chairs and a large corner sofa which was comfy. We did have a problem with the tv channels for last thing at night to watch something and first thing in the morning for news channels. These channels would sometimes drop out. I was surprised at the size of the terrace with a table and chairs and two loungers, it was a proper sun trap and quite private until other neighbours decided to talk across to each other over their balconies. I was disappointed at the size of the pool and the area around it. The pool would shut at 18.00 and opened around 10.00am where if you wanted to use the pool you had to queue for a lounger, we never used the pool so we went down to the beach where there’s more space. The staff here are attentive, friendly and helpful. There is a good laundry facility with a locker room to put your luggage in for when you have to leave the apartment at the end of the holiday. We used the luggage facility on our last day and the shower room so we could refresh ourselves before getting picked up for our coach transfer.

We had a lovely time staying at Villa Florida. We stayed for 4 nights and found the apartment to be more than adequate for us. Its not luxury but for the price we loved it. Very nice decor (superior apartment) with a comfy lounge area and a great little kitchen with everything we needed , even mugs for our English tea ! The bathroom was very nice too but had a few little niggles that needed looking at but nothing to spoil the holiday. The shower was really good, lots of hot water and powerful. The beds were comfy for holiday beds and the pillows were ok too. Plenty of wardrobe space but lacking a dressing table so we put everything on the wooden luggage rack. Outside we had a little terrace which was semi private with people walking past as we were on the ground floor but we didn't mind. The pool area is clean with quite a few sunbeds, the only issue was that what appeared to be long stay guests queued up in the morning to get 'their spot' which meant you couldn't get a lounger until the afternoon so if you like staying by the pool be prepared. The pool bar was great, we enjoyed Happy Hour and had pizza a couple times in the afternoon which was tasty and great value. The bar man was funny, his English isn't the best so he may come across a little abrupt but we liked him and my partner had some banter with him :-) Reception were all amazing, a lovely welcome from a very friendly gentleman and check out with a lovely lady who ordered us a taxi to the airport. Very organised and helpful. The location is perfect for the beach, bars and restaurants and there is a Dino supermarket about 5 mins walk for essentials. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would definately stay again. The complex felt very safe as you had to go through a door with a key to get entry .I would recommend these apartments to couples and small groups but maybe not families with young children.

The hotel felt very safe. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The only drawback is even though it states the pool is heated, it was still very cold. The snack bar is supposed to be open 6 out of 7 days a week, however, it was shut more often than it was open. Which is unfortunate as this meant everyone had to go off site to buy food and drink.
