I did not stay there and was charged. The place was filthy, health hazard and staff were not of American decent unable to understand anything communicated to them.

The staff was not available upon arrival or other times as needed.
The breakfast did not have regular coffee or any allergen-free options.
The door to our room had been damaged and was very difficult to open.

For the entire time I was there my room wasn’t clean at all. The cleaning lady knocked on my door when I left she never cleaned my room. That’s why I gave a bad review.

As a business owner of a self operating landscaping company, I have learned to recognize and appreciate quality customer service when I see it and ASHLEY, at the quality inn in Calera is the definition of Just that. I stopped by possibilities of having to rent a room due to issues with my vehicle. I know my phone is about to die as quick as I could ask to borrow a charger. She had already had one ready for me. She allowed me to let my phone charge, provide me a couple tools needed to check out the vehicle and lo and behold. I was on my way in less than 20 minutes. I really really appreciate Ashley taking the time to help me when she did not have to. After working a Longer shift than usual at my primary job I was tired and frustrated and she was able to shed a little light on the situation if you ever come across this Ashley, thank you so much and I saw all the kids… God did too! There were bugs, stains on the sheets, the water from the sink smelled like sewer water and the bed had me itching all night. Also it was 8:40 and they were already trying to come into my room. Never had such a bad experience at a hotel and I usually stay at a lot of hotels for work.

Beverly at desk at night was amazing. And the day shift staff was also fabulous. We had a rough drive they were very accommodating to my grandson in the evening and morning. Food was good at breakfast, several choices. The room was spotless and very well maintained. We would definitely stay here again.
