Our expectations were not high - Calama is not exactly a tourist city, and we expected the hotel to be very plain and geared towards visiting workers, but it was very nice! Lots of spacious, comfortable public areas, and a comfortable, well-equipped room. Breakfast was good - eggs cooked to order - and dinner in the restaurant was fine, which meant we did not have to venture into the centre at night (although the city seems to have had a lot of money spent on it since we first visited in 2013). The location, on the edge of the city near the airport also meant meant that it was easy to find without having to navigate your way through the city - although slightly complicated on this occasion by nearby roadworks. The outdoor swimming pool looked nice, though we did not use it because of the high UV levels! The prices were very low for the quality provided. Secure parking on site.

The location is very good, less than 100 meters from the JUMBO supermarket, it is very convenient to purchase food for tourism. The room is compact and comfortable, breakfast is good, the waiter speaks English and the service is very professional. There is a parking lot.

Very good value for money hotel, and the service is also very good, the most rare thing is that there is hot water supply, the bed in the room is relatively large, according to the status of this area, this is considered a better service for passengers! The hotel was the best of staff care; they were always attentive and willing to solve any disadvantages. We were welcomed with a welcome drink and as the first to check in at the new hotel reception, we were allocated a room above the contracted. The rooms were perfectly clean, everything was very nice and worked perfectly; the rooms were wide and comfortable. Breakfast was very rich and varied. The restaurant is a 10: quality products, very well prepared and presented. The hotel has a well-protected parking within the property and with security staff.

We wanted a confortable bed with duvet ( not heavy blankets) and a decent shower. We got that. But from the start there were issues. The extra bed in the triple room wasnt done and there were hairs on the mattress. The shower was burning hot. No cold water.! We had to go twice downstairs to get a man to fix it. We had problem to get Internet and had yet again to go downstairs to get help. (There is no way of contacting reception so we spent the first hour going down many times.) Internet does work. We waited for the third bed to be cleaned and done but at the end we had to do the bed ourselves. The air con didn't work despite the fact that the technician was there fixing the water. He looked at it and decided it works. Well it didn't. 🌝Breakfast was good. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The problems were sorted. The location of the hotel is good. You can easily walk into town or go to the modern shopping mall where you find cash point and money exchange at good rates.
