This could be a 4 star review but more effort needs to be made. This is a block of residential flats for older adults and the flat does have a bit of a mild hospital smell to it around the bathroom area, but not a problem. Other wise flat is clean and modern. This was all apart from no curtains in one bedroom and only one of two curtains in the other room. The log in for WiFi didn't work until I realised they had a capital letter on the login word when it should have been lower case. The flat is set up for older adults (. Which may be of benefit for some as flats and showers seem set up for wheelchair access). Hob needs timer on to work, and this could have been made clearer. Kitchen provision is poor. No lids for cooking pots. No tin opener, no bottle opener, no serving spoons, no chopping/sharp knives, no chopping board. Had to borrow a bottle opener from reception. Worst equipped holiday rental ever and I've stayed in a few. So cheap and easy to resolve just not thinking about the market they're providing to. Staff were helpful and there was access to the swimming pool as stated but we didn't use, not sure what the older residents doing gentle lengths of the pool would have made of our 10 and 12 year olds rocking up. I think there's a gym room as well so for £88 not bad really.

Great location for the tunnel, and luckily only one night. Firstly, we were told to come back in an hour to check in, but room still not ready ! Also, couldn’t use the garage entrance so had to drive round the one way system to find the exit, which wasn’t easy ! 1) The room was clean, but toilet very smelly (drains) 2) no WiFi 3) no t towels 4) one flat pillow 5) lacking in facilities Not for us …… will look for a hotel in future !

Better than we thought. Very good value for money. We had a small apartment with balcony. Bedroom, kitchen, living area and bathroom. Very welcoming, friendly staff. Had to ask for towels to be replenished, room wasn’t serviced as advertised but it didn’t matter. Slightly strange being in a seniors residential home, but everyone friendly. I guess it helps having another income stream. Another plus was a small swimming pool with good jacuzzi built in. Husband enjoyed relaxation bed -€7 for20 minutes. Breakfast offered for €9.80, not worth it but had to try. Only downside was road repairs which went on all week but can’t be helped.

Do not think of booking this accommodation- it is locally known as a care home and has smells of one. We had to move rooms, late at night due to an absolute, gut wrenching smell of raw sewage coming up through the bathroom and infiltrating the whole apartment- myself and my husband were heaving with the smell. I cannot stress how much of a sickness inducing pong this was. The changed apartment still had a smell of the sewage, be it slightly milder. Furniture in room was nothing like the photos, no sofa only 2 chairs and a tiny bed. Tea bags in room but no kettle so had to use a pan. Reception staff abrupt and fairly unhelpful - gave the impression any assistance was too much trouble to them. Worst place I have ever stayed in all my 50 + years. Do not book.
