14 nights. Amazing. Staff friendly, professional. Spotless everywhere. Sunbeds always available. Halfboard can’t fault it. We upgraded just for 1 week to AI also can’t fault it. We have never been to the same place or hotel twice but we came home and booked again for next August/September 2026. Just wish men could wear smart shorts for dinner in the restaurant as the gentleman that come to this hotel are smart people. Regards Ann & Ray Purday

We are just back from an enjoyable week at the Valentin Star hotel. We stayed, half board, in a pool view room. The pool is very big and the central focus of daytime activities, led by super-friendly Lydia and Lorenzo. There is also a separate jacuzzi which is nice for a bit of after-swim relaxation. We really appreciated the musicians who came to play by the pool on several afternoons while we were there - that was a real treat. The hotel in all areas is kept spotlessly clean. Our double poolside room had everything that we needed for our stay. Without exception we thought that all of the hotel staff were friendly and attentive. Nothing was too much trouble. The only thing that we did not like this year was the fact that, as half board guests we were not allowed to eat outside or in a window seat in the main restaurant. Having dressed up for our evenings it felt a bit like we were dining in a work canteen with the air con turned up to full blast, so we abandoned the restaurant for a few nights and ate in the restaurants around the Marina where we could admire the views and bask in the warmth of the evening air. There is a good atmosphere around the Marina and we would recommend Tom's Bar for pre-dinner drinks. We would come again but on a bed and breakfast basis rather than half board.

Séjour de 5 jours absolument réussi au Valentin Star Menorca. La prestation a été à la hauteur de nos attentes, voire plus. Mention spéciale pour la formule All-Inclusive: accès à un restaurant dédié, équipe de serveurs aux petits soins et très efficace, et plats “à la carte”. L’ensemble du personnel est d’une grande gentillesse et est très attentionné. L’hôtel, réservé aux adultes, est très propre et particulièrement calme, idéal pour se reposer. La piscine est de belle taille, avec des transats disponibles tout au long de la journée, et les animations sont variées et discrètes (volley, yoga, etc.). L’emplacement près du port est pratique avec quelques balades possibles. Notre chambre avec vue sur la piscine était simple, propre et confortable. Une adresse que nous recommandons chaleureusement pour un séjour relaxant et bien organisé à Minorque !

Having just returned from a lovely stay. Firstly the positive experience. We contacted the hotel direct to book an Accessible room and was allocated room 120 on arrival. Spacious for the wheelchair and nice private patio area, if we did not want to go to the pool. Reception staff were very helpful and ensured we were informed of the hotels availability for wheelchair access. They also will book taxis and as we had an 9am departure, ensured we had time for breakfast and even offered to have a breakfast pre made if required. The hotel is spacious and ramps everywhere to making it easy to get around. The marina is only a 2 minute walk away, so great for food and drinks. We booked half Board and can honestly say the food was first class. Great selection at both breakfast and evening to satisfy every taste bud. If ordering a bottle of wine , they will save the remains for another night if you do not finish the bottle. Plenty of sun beds to choose from . Staff. All friendly and very helpful. A credit to the hotel. Improvements. Water fountains to refill water bottles would benefit rehydration during the day. A pool chair lift for less mobile customers would be great to access the pool. The hotel offer accessible rooms, so this would be a great addition. Room 120, the shower area had a grab rail in the wrong place. I do think that this should be assessed by a a wheelchair user. In my opinion, This is a great hotel with only a few tweaks to improve on.

L'accueil est déplorable. Carmen n'est pas polie pas un au revoir. Elle oublie de redonner la caution de la clé car le coffre fort est payant ce qui me paraît complètement absurde pour un séjour à 4 à plus de 5000€. Alors que l'accueil au petit déjeuner est très appréciable table réservée sans demande. Le petit déjeuner en lui-même est juste satisfaisant rien d'exceptionnel pas de jus de fruits frais du pain décongelé rien de frais ni les viennoiseries tout est industriel indigne d'un 4 étoiles. Les chanvres sont de taille satisfaisante avec une attention le premier jour d'arrivée ce qui est appréciable mais pas du tout relative au prix payant. Très peu d'activité proposée. Pas de salle de fitness. La situation est satisfaisante mais pas de vue mer tout est engoncé. Très déçue des prestations et du service de l'accueil.

What a great hotel. Amazing staff and service. Lovely vibe. Just enough going on including musicians and exercise organised by enthusiastic and fun staff. Refreshing to get such great service. Many bars and restaurants on site and close to the marina with lots of restaurants and some shops.

My wife and i just came back from the Valatin star hotel after 7 days holiday, it was our first visit here, we were half board and booked the junior suite room, the staff were absoulutley faboulous from cleaners to reception, all all were so friendly and a joy to speak to and very helpful, we have stayed in many good hotels, but this was brilliant, the food was delicious breafast and evening meals, waiting staff were fab,the pool area was great with many activites, cleanlyness was top of the range, i read many reviews before hand about people moaning about segregation due to AI premiure guests so was a bit conerned, we found known of this at all and enjoyed our stay and felt well cared for. in fact we thought the hotel has got it right with AI guests, previous reviews must have been people wanting something to moan about something due dislikeing a little change from their previous stays, anyway thank you Valetin star for a wonderful 7 day holiday.
