Upon arrival, my heart sank a little as the hotel was next to an open car park, but after a few minutes of walking around I found the wide open beach, with it's attractive promenade, lined with several restaurants. The restaurant Punta Cala was my favorite. They served a very good meal. On entering the hotel, I received a very warm, friendly welcome, the staff were so obliging and I was even given an upgrade for my room. It was so lovely to have a balcony and sea view. My room was always spotlessly clean as were all the other areas. If anything was missing it was a restaurant. They had a snack bar next to the pool if you need something light, but as I was usually out for the day somewhere it really didn't matter. There are 2 bus stops near to the hotel, travelling in opposite directions, which take you back into Malaga or to Rincon de la Victoria. Friday is Market Day!

We hebben een goed verblijf gehad, ruime kamer, goede bedden. Ontbijt ook goed, veel keuze. de ontbijtzaal is beneden, in de kelder, het is erg lawaaierig met alle mensen die er dan praten. Hotel is op loopafstand van het strand, ook allerlei winkels en restaurantjes in de buurt. Zwembad op het dakterras, ook erg lekker om even te relaxen.

Nice hotel, large rooms, good food, friendly employees and close to the beach. We stayed with friends in october. We had good weather and the hotel had the conditions to make Nice memories about our stay. A big plus is Thatcher the hotel is close to the Nice City of Malaga. For the daily needs there are several shops close to the hotel.

Great location next to the beach and close to the bus stops for going to Malaga or elsewhere. Very.kind and helpful staff. Rooftop swimming pool with a view. Spotless and spacious room and bathroom. Breakfast provides a range of choice. Would recommend this hotel.

Wonderful staff, so friendly and helpful. Hotel may seem “old” but standards are very high, very clean and large rooms - much bigger than normal. Pool area is lovely with great food and drinks at reasonable prices. Perfect location to explore area

Hotel is in a great position. 3 minutes walk to the beach, 1 kin walk to local shops and bars and restaurants. Good front of house service. Breakfast mediocre but there is enough variety to fill your self up before you go on your day. Room is standard, and cleaned daily with towels changed daily.

Hotel ubicado en una zona tranquila,cerca de la playa. Buena atencion al cliente y precio adecuado. No destaca por las vistas. Adecuado si buscas un hotel cerca de Malaga y con un precio mas ajustado. Habitaciones muy grandes y limpias. Estancia agradable.

El hotel más abusivo y pesetero que he conocido. He viajado mucho en pareja con mis dos mascotas, dos perretes teckels pequeñitos. Filtré cómo hago siempre aquí y en otras webs y me salió este hotel. En un principio tomé toda la información de se web, pero como era un poco confusa llamé para cerciorarme. Mi duda era el plus que tenía que pagar por mis mascotas. Resumo: 10 euros por perro, comprensible si y no, si pago por ellos que menos que me ofrezcan una camita y un bebedero. Además 20 euros adicionales por limpieza (para que entonces ese dinero anterior), pero ojo, que no acaba ahí. Un perro por habitación, si quieres ir con dos, tu pareja a una habitación y yo a otra. ¿Sois o vais de “petfriendly”? porque de momento para mí y para quien le haya pasado o se sienta identificado sois un hotelucho del tres al cuarto, un boquete adornado con gusto, un sitio donde mejor no ir… Por cierto, otra cosa, en la locución de espera telefonica, dice un señor que tienen el mejor precio garantizado, patatín patatán, no lo tenían y me lo igualaban, cuando lo correcto es mejorarlo, a la par que la web no te hace el 10% por estar inscrito como “amigo de Soho”. Un despropósito todo… Por cierto, el de atención al cliente telefónica cero soluciones. Enhorabuena, en breves iréis viendo cómo cae en picado el hotel.
