Gavimar la Mirada Hotel and Apartments

Honestly I don't know where to even start.This hotel is terrible, dirty room,invasion of ant's everywhere even in a little bedside table,towels grey and really worn, dirty,faulty fridge covered with rust, smells really badly. Fire alarm went on 3 nights in a row, the worst is a salty water in a shower, almost impossible to take a shower, we have been supplying ourselves with a water from supermarket to clean at least a bit as normal. Food cold,disgusting ,especially breakfast and dinner, very limited selection, we did not tried a swimming pool snacks bar as only from the look of it pushed you away. Hotel full of Germans, really rude Please avoid, I wouldn't come back even if is a free holiday. Only location is great, central and very close to the restaurants, bars and a beautiful beach ⛱️

TERRIBLE STAY!! Still here at present. Hotel is disgusting and dirty. Ants running in your bed. Yellow shower curtain & mould. Dirty cutterly & cups. Maids just make your bed & don't clean properly I've had to ask for clean towels and to empty my bathroom bin & mop my floor! Disgraceful. The food is rotten! We have eaten out every day and night because the food is that diabolical!! Breakfast is put out under lamps at midnight and left there for 7 hours.. not fresh by morning bread has flies on it & the salad is dried up! Pulled the sofa bed out in which I found crumbs and filth all down the side and spilt drinks which have been there for some time built up! Hence why this hotel has a infestation of ants!!! The customers are all German and RUDE! Stare at you like you have 5 heads & there is no entertainment what so ever!! Paid £1500 for two people to stay here and we've spent £1000 on our ten day stay due to having to leave this hotel day and night because it's that AWFUL! I would not recommend anyone to stay here. The hotel is very poor it needs a 0 star not 3! I will never ever return to this hotel or this area. Worst ten days of my life. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!! Save your money!!!!! You have to walk round your hotel room in shoes at all times cause the filth on the floor sticks to your feet.

Pros. Staff all friendly and helpful especially the manager and eddie the barman. Good location. Plenty of sunbeds and areas to sunbathe. A refundable euro for cup/plate saves a lot of mess. Comfy beds. Cons. Entertainment was probably the worst we have seen, the guy during the day just couldnt be bothered, joined in one game and it took me longer to put my t shirt on than the game lasted. A new girl started while we there and she was a lot better. Evening was shocking too, mini disco...no fun for kids, adult entertainment was worse, no interaction with kids or adults. Food was just bog standard A.I. nothing special. Drinks the same. Rooms are dated, showering in salty water is not good at all, this should be stated while booking, two of our party have eczema and struggled. Towels are thread bare and full of holes. Would we return....NO!!!!

Lovely hotel great food. Let down by the entertainment during the day, we are new here and speaking to other guests they have said they are bored. Same darts and volleyball every day!! Nobody played today. Doesn’t that tell you something!! Where is the variation!! Let’s have some aquafit, water volleyball, water polo! Come on, it’s not that difficult and you have still time to give some guests a great holiday if you liven it up now, it’s not too late to make some easy changes
