We stayed at a studio in building N for 2 nights. The room is newly renovated and very comfortable with lots of storage space and easy access to the car park, although you could hear some noises in the morning when the staff started to clean the rooms. The breakfast buffet is really convenient with great see views. However the food options aren’t as rich as I’d expect and I am a bit disappointed by the taste of the coffee and juices. The best part of living here is definitely the beach access where you can swim/snorkel in the sea (there are many fishes!), lying on the sun bed and go back to your room to take a shower easily.

The room we got was nothing like what was advertised on their site: it was dark, not renovated and smelled of humidity.the sea view, was more of a view on a parking lot with partial view of the sea. When we went to the front desk stating that this is not what we paid for, as the room looks nothing like the pictures; they simply responded that this is the room they have for us and no other option was given. They mentioned that we are not the only ones that want to change rooms and they have a waiting list of about 20 people who are waiting to change rooms. We asked then for our booking to be cancelled and a reimbursement. The manager, who was very dismissive told us that we have to cancel through ******* as we had reserved through them, which we did. We left the hotel immediately after we were in contact with ******* to cancel the reservation; we did not stay at the hotel for even one night. After one week, ******* informed us that the hotel refuses to give any reimbursement of the 2950 euros fee that we had paid.

We stayed at Esmeralda Park for 10 days and were initially very concerned after reading numerous negative reviews. Fortunately, our experience turned out to be a positive one — perhaps we were lucky, but our apartment (Block K, ground floor) was lovely. The apartment was clean and we received fresh towels daily. However, I was disappointed that I had to request clean bedding on night seven, which falls short of the usual standards I’ve come to expect from Inturotel. We stayed in a Select apartment, which featured twin beds and an L-shaped sofa in the living area. Having stayed with Inturotel before, I knew the sofa doubled as a bed, so that wasn’t a surprise. The pool area was busy, but by heading down for opening at 9 a.m., we always managed to get sunbeds. The main issue with sunbeds seems to stem from guests reserving them with towels and leaving them unoccupied for hours. Over the course of our stay, we only saw towels being removed once; a situation that caused noticeable upset among returning guests. The lifeguards clearly have a tough job trying to keep everyone happy. As we were self-catering, I can’t comment on the quality of the food, but we found the staff to be friendly and helpful. Management were present and visible each day, and the maintenance team worked hard to keep the gardens and grounds in great condition. The kids’ club and entertainment programme ran Monday to Friday and were thoroughly enjoyed by my children. Would I stay again? Yes. However, I’d be hesitant to recommend it to others, knowing that guest experiences can vary so widely

The hotel Inturotel Esmeralda Park in Cala D,or is situated in one of the beautifull bays that Mallorca is known for. There are plenty of ways to enjoy your holiday , enjoy the vieuws the sandy beaches or the local shops and markets. Also the beach is a must go

Long story short, fantastic location, gorgeous beach view, 10 min walk in to Cala Dor. The hotel itself? AWFUL! Stay somewhere else is my advice. Dragoland is 25 euros for 2 adults and 1 toddler per day, ants all over our room in the bathroom, kitchen and our bed. We have come home with ant bites all over, asked to move numerous times and was not offered anything remotely better because all the rooms are the same. The rooms were musty, mouldy and damp. Even the sheets and 'Fresh' towels felt moist. Whilst we were there for 1 week, the pools closed 3 times and the pergola above the childrens pool collapsed on sunbathers and babys/children and not one lift worked other than the one to the restaurant which looks about 100 years old and also stinks!! Honestly, if you have basic standards and expect your £2500-£3000 holiday to be worth that, think again and re-book elsewhere.

We were extremely disappointed with this hotel. Despite being recently renovated, it’s clear the work was done on the cheap, and the overall quality is far from what you’d expect for the price. Our room was excessively humid – so much so that the bedsheets felt wet to the touch. The musty smell was overwhelming, and we had no choice but to sleep with the windows open. Shockingly, one of the bedsheets (for my son’s bed) was stained with blood. Instead of properly making the bed, housekeeping simply left a duvet and sheets on the side for us to handle ourselves – completely unacceptable. For a suite booked for three people, we were given just one small bottle of water. That level of service is not only disappointing, it’s disrespectful to paying guests. Additionally, the hotel lacks enough sunbeds for its guests. It felt impossible to relax by the pool or beach without scrambling for a spot – again, not what you’d expect from a so-called premium hotel. Everything about this stay felt surreal. The setting might look decent at a quick glance, but the underlying experience is poor. We paid a high price expecting comfort, cleanliness, and good service, and unfortunately, this hotel failed to deliver on all fronts.

We are currently on day 6 of our week family holiday and wanted to offer our views/tips for anyone due to come here. So, when we booked this holiday in 2024 we naturally checked reviews and all was well. We checked again before traveling and it definitely caused some reservations. For anyone else in this position, dont let it ruin your excitement, there is still plenty to look forward to, you just may want to mix things up a little. We had booked a premium sea view room. It was one of the nicest rooms we have had on holiday, no complaints at all. Housekeeping were friendly and came every day. We arranged the sofa's onto the floor a bit and kept them set up as 'beds', kids (8 & 10) slept fine all week. There is no freezer within the fridge which is a shame. The entertainment & location is good, we found reception staff helpful and friendly. We were self catering so cannot comment on food. Now, onto the pool situation... Frankly, they have ruined this hotel in the new pool design. They have gone for Instagram styling over practicality, when empty its beautiful however during the day it is shear chaos, it should be 3 times the size. We were told it opens at 10, its full from 9 ish. The lifeguards will stop kids playing with a ball even if small (tennis ball size). If not traveling with kids you will be OK as can use the adults only pool. We read reviews saying drago-land was 80 euros a day, guessing the hotel have read these also and decided to reduce, it cost 55 euros for a family of 4 per day. When we booked, there was nothing advising drago land was chargeable so pre travel this was principaly frustrating, however we made a conscious decision to put our principles aside and rescue our family holiday by paying the entry fee ok 4 days. This meant mornings were relaxed, no fighting for sunbeds, no worrying about beds being lost when going for lunch etc. Drago land itself our kids loved, the lifeguards in there are fab, the slides provided hours of fun for the kids (and parents). TOP TIP We used the Azul Garden pool a couple of days which is permitted. Its a 2 minute walk, there were ample sun beds, lifeguards allowed playing with balls etc and it was a much more typical 'family holiday pool day'. SUMMARY We probably wouldn't stay again, but we made it work and enjoyed our week.

This hotel has alot of improvements to make for it to feel like a 4* hotel! The miserable staff really let this hotel down, unhelpful and unfriendly! Anything we asked, felt like an inconvenience. Reception staff really under trained and giving conflicting information. There are no staff generally maintaining the grounds, for all it has just been refurbished, there is alot of rubbish about, even glass bottles were left by the pool for children to knock over. Not enough sunbeds as per most previous reviews, maybe okay if travelling to the hotel as a couple due to the adult only poo, but certainly not ideal for families. We visited Cala Azul and Azul gardens which seemed to have plenty of sunbeds and was a much better experience round the pool. The room was okay, but just that- it felt a letdown compared to the photos, two of us (adult and a toddler- as we didn’t feel comfortable leaving her in the main room on her own) had to sleep on a sofa bed which was uncomfortable and not even made up for our arrival. There seems to be two versions of the sofa beds available- an actual pull out sofa bed and a makeshift put together L shape- we had the L share which was awful. Food was alright, not much evening meal options for kids- we were half board and ate out 3/7 nights. I can see the management hasn’t responded to any of the many negative reviews which is so disappointing. Cala D’Or is lovely, but I would never return to this hotel again .

Where to begin. Let's start with the fact that it costs about £4,300 for a 10 day stay. For that amount, you or your children will be sleeping on makeshift beds that are basically rock hard sofas. Then let's talk about the pool. Not enough sun loungers for the guests they book. So either you wake up at 7am and QUEUE for sun loungers, or you're forced to spend the day standing with your belongings and getting sunburnt because they don't have the facilities. You know footage of people running for sun loungers? It's that. Yep. Then breakfast. Again, they are quick to take your booking but they don't have the facilities! If you go to breakfast any time after 8:30am expect another queue that stretches out of the door and down a flight of stairs. We saw families standing in line for 25mins just to get a seat. (Remember, £4000 to be here and this is the experience) Then the beach at the hotel. Members of the public can come in so if the pool was too crowded and you wanted to hit the beach... It's even more crowded. About 12 sun loungers down there... You guessed it, all gone by 8am. When we mentioned the bed, the queue to eat, the lack of sun loungers at reception, we were met with shoulder shrugs. They have our £4000 now, what does it matter to them. Please don't be duped. If you have standards, this isn't the place. Nice facade, but a look under the surface and this place cannot physically cater for the amount of people they cram in. AVOID. (We still have a few days left too...!)
