Inturotel Sa Marina

Just returned home from the Inturotel Sa Marina. Firstly the Hotel itself is a stunning building & surroundings, also the cleaners & garden staff, keep the place tip top. Fantastic location!. In all my years of travelling I have never complained but until we discovered we had been completely mis-sold our yearly family holiday. Warning all family's with active Teenagers wanting fun & exciting activities though the daytime. Having 2 x teenage boys 14 & 15 years, we booked through TUI as they are advertising there is a "lively Games Pool with Music", & a Quiet relaxing Adults Pool, also the hotels website advertising a teenagers club for 13-17years packed with continuous fun "5 days a week!!, sounded perfect!, all completely false information & far from the truth, there is no Quite Adults only pool & definitely no pool games aloud fall stop, was told off by the lifeguard for using a soft blow up ball on our fist dip in the pool?. We reported this to the hotel manager & receptionist staff explaining what's going on its all advertised on both websites!, we was Instantly made to feel very unwelcome & unconfutable for the remanding 9 days. Reported this to TUI who have been very unhelpful & making all sorts of excuses. You will also have fun with there Pool towel policy, left alone for 20 min on a sun bed you get a small note left onto of a pill of towels on the floor, but its very selective who gets targeted for this!. Naughty notes slipped under the door explaining please do not dry towels over your balcony, well that's ok if they provided information from the start & somewhere to hang them rather than a small rail for your shorts & underwear to dry out!. On our last day we purchased some take away fries from the hotel restaurant to eat with our Baggett's previously purchased, then shortly after there was very heavy rain, so I took my wife & 2 boys just to sit inside until the rain stopped, the restaurant staff immediately & aggressively marched us out in front of the other customers to sit outside & eat in the rain, we explained we no longer have a room as this was past 11am booking out time, to be honest I have no words for this behaviour & we will most definitely not be returning, my wife was in tears & felt humiliated. We understand the restaurant policy but simple human kindness in this circumstance should have been priority?. The Hotel manager & TUI did not reach out once to at least try & compensate us whilst on holiday. Its a shame we have been mis-lead into booking. I can see this would be a great place for family's with younger children & couples wanting a chill out holiday, without the Adults pool don't forget!. We booked for fun & games for our 2 x teenager boys which was quickly taken away from us. We noticed today on there Kids activities App schedule that funny enough today should be Basketball?, we had 10 x days of nothing & screenshots to prove this. Very upsetting & costly with our precious family time & money.

Lovely 7 nights B&B stay at the Int. Sa Marina hotel in Cala Dor. Me, my wife and our 2 children age 14 and 11 stayed for a week in July. We wanted a B&B 7 night close to restaurants and a chilled week. First time staying at the hotel and it did not disappoint. Rooms large, seperate bedroom, nice balcony facing the pool and plentiful options at breakfast. The whole resort is super clean and all staff were friendly. Great location minutes from the main centre and not much further to the marina. Spoilt for choice with restaurants and bars within walking distance making this a great choice. Local SPARs minutes away for filling kitchen and fridge with some essentials. Beaches also within 10-15 mins depending which one you choose all very nice. We also ate lunch sometimes at the new bar at the hotel which we found to be nice and price reasonable. CalaDor is similar prices to UK, and deals can be found and so many great places to eat with the Marina more expensive and upmarket. I did plan to use the Gym but never did and for those planning to use it all new equipment and good size. It is quiet and chilled as a resort, small football pitch and some have mentioned reviews about entertainment not as lively but for us we wanted what we got. All in all we had a great week at this hotel and would recommend. Not the hotels fault, only slight issue I left my apple pencil in the safe by accident, just awaiting reply from the hotel to see if they have found it!

We had two one bedroom apartments next to each other, which worked so well. We overlooked the pool. The Hotel is so clean and Staff so helpful and welcoming. We had the absolutely best time and can't recommend highly enough. The Pools were so clean and nice and large. The location is brilliant for the town, 3 mins and Marina 7 mins. We loved both experiences, but preferred eating in the Marina restaurants. The town was busy, but still able to get a table without booking. Lovely atmosphere and would highly recommend Cala d'Or.

Enjoyed a 10 night stay at the Sa Marina. It is extremely clean and we observed the cleaning staff working hard throughout our stay to keep up the obvious high cleaning standard set. We enjoyed both the pools and we didn’t mind the policy of no ball games or floats in the pool as I felt it made for a more relaxing pool experience and our boys aged 8 and 12 were happy with their rubber rings which were allowed. The room was fine, maybe a little basic but perfectly adequate with a decent shower.Small kitchen to self cater however no preparation area which would have been useful but fine for preparing small snacks. It was a nice touch when the room had been made up that the housekeeping staff made the kids beds up with care such as teddies and blankets placed nicely. The balcony was a good size. The shaded garden area with sunbeds and daybeds was very nice. Our children also enjoyed having free access to the football area. There were some nice little activities on the go for the children within the outdoor area, such as pottery painting, games etc…no pressure to take part. (They didn’t go into the kids club so can’t comment) Pool table and ping pong inside. We dined in the pool bar on a couple of occasions and yes it’s not cheap however the food was very enjoyable and it was a nice change from the busy restaurants in the centre. Very peaceful and chilled. Maybe a snack hut might be an idea for those that just want a quick burger or hotdog. The policy of not reserving sunbeds without using them for hours on end was welcome. Towels were removed if sunbeds not being used for long periods. Sa Marina is close to the centre, bus stop and Marina. Sa Marina may not be for everyone if you prefer a lot of entertainment and noise but if you would prefer a chilled relaxed place to stay then I would definitely recommend.

amazing hotel. we enjoyed everything about it. Best hotel I have ever stayed in over many years travelling. rooms, pools, staff and location all fantastic. I would highly recommend it to anyone. no deposit for pool towels, no charge for safe, no stupid rules around the pools, comfy beds and great air-con. we even had a coffee machine in the room. so much do do in the area as well. different restaurant for dinner every night all only 5-10 mins away. plenty water sport activities to do in the area. we really had a great experience.

Cleanest hotel (as always), staff deserve a medal for attention to detail. Good to see life guards removing towels from ****** who tried to reserve
