It was a spacious room with a living room and bedroom, and also a terrace. There was some kind of show every night. It was just over an hour by bus from the airport, but it was close to the beach and there were several delicious restaurants.

Room: We were on the ground floor meaning we had a lovely spacious garden out back looking out onto where the entertainment was, our room was clean and spacious although we did have a problem with our drains at the start but overall didn’t cause a too big of a problem just meant we kept on having to empty a bucket now and again. A word of warning the walls are very thin and we could hear everything from our neighbours next door but overall had good storage, clean and spacious. Food: The food choice wasn’t the best could’ve done with more, i can’t complain about the staff though they were helpful and nice. The restaurant was slightly too small for the amount of people if you go when it opens it’s usually very busy but if you go later on it’s quieter. Cups: The cups situation can get quite annoying, It’s €1 for a cup and you keep that cup and keep on getting it refilled throughout the day then get your euro back when your finished but i’m not comparing compared to other hotels where cups are everywhere it keeps the hotel clean and prevents people from leaving them just anywhere. Area: It’s a short walk into town and there’s a few nearby spars which came in handy, about a 5-10 minute walk to the beach, it was lovely overall in a good area. Tips: -Don’t go to the restaurant as soon as it opens. -get your sun loungers early in the morning - keep a euro handy for drinks -good restaurants surrounding the hotel Facilities: -gym -good choice of pools -tennis court -table tennis -activities throughout the day -entertainment in the evening Overall good experience

The food is horrific and cold, kids were just eating cold rice or chips, we paid all inclusive which was extra, we then spent most of our spending money eating out it was that bad, we will never pay all inclusive again after this holiday !!! There is a restaurant on site you get a discount on there food looked fantastic, shocking !!

We arrived at the hotel in the middle of the night around 4 o’clock and the lady said your room is over there, pointing out the window behind reception. I noticed however that in front of us were two people who were guided to their room, we were treated like second class citizens all the time we were there. When we tried to find the room that we were staying in there were no lights on , the place was vast and quite frightening for a couple in their late sixties as we are to be walking around at night time. I had to use the torch on my phone to find out where we were going. As we walked into the room that we were given there was a smell of sewerage in the whole place- it was absolutely stinking and both my wife and I started baulking - nearly being sick so I said we can’t stay in here. So we both found our way back to reception using my torch on the phone because again there was no guide and there was nothing else to guide us back to reception . I said to the lady there’s no way we can stay in that room it smells of sewage can we move us somewhere else, please? She said no there’s nowhere else to go. Here’s an air freshener use that - I said I can’t because it smells too bad and we were just gonna be sick. We need to speak to a manager. She said there’s no manager or anybody else you can speak to tonight - they don’t start till tomorrow morning. Now bearing in mind we’ve been travelling all night and we were really really tired, I said right what are you going to do to help us - she just shrugged her shoulders and said there are no other rooms available. I said we cannot sleep in that room- ( in the meantime a security person had gone with me to the room and said no, you cannot sleep there). So I said we have no choice but to sleep in reception. She said fine!!We pulled up a couple of couches and we had to sleep in reception that night having travelled all through the night. I have to sleep with a CPAP machine so there was I in the middle of reception and my wife in the clothes that we travelled with, our suitcases and me with a mask on my mouth from my CPAP machine which I had connected to the nearest socket. Very embarrassing for us but she didn’t seem to care. So we slept there for about two hours, before the main lights came on. My wife was scared that somebody was gonna do something to our cases -she stayed awake all the time we were there. At about 8 o’clock in the morning, the receptionist said - oh we have another room thats cleaned and sorted for you. Again we were told that the the room is over there - here’s your keys and again we had to walk across the vast complex on our own to find the room. As soon as I walked in, it was exactly the same sewage smell and it was just as bad if not worse than the first place. I therefore went back to reception and said no this is no good ; We can’t sleep there either because it just smells of human waste exactly the same as the last place that you tried to put us in. We were told then to w

This is the second time we have stayed at Club Marthas and we absolutely love it here. The staff are always friendly and can't do enough for you, the entertainment is generally very good - I have one of those faces apparently so get roped into the mini disco a lot :). The pools are fab, but at peak times getting sunbeams can be a challenge, the cabana beds are a good option for a bit of luxury. The food is always plentiful and we eat well; our only criticism would be the breakfast selection could do with some improvement. Rooms are clean and well looked after as are the grounds and the location is central to plenty of bars shops and amazing beaches. Don't forget to jump on the mini-tren and go for an explore. We will be back :)

Failure to accept issues or food poisoning. I have written a complaint with the hotel whilst there and feeling extremely unwell after the first night. I then emailed them about my complaint. I have had my concerns confirmed by NHS testing that I had food poisoning. They continue to fail to respond, despite a formal complaint and further communications.

I have recently returned from a one week stay at this hotel, it was a nice break in a nice part of the island. There were positives and negatives for the hotel. I will start with the positives. The food was good, always a full plate as there was a lot of food that I liked. The plate always finished empty. Breakfast, lunch & the evening meal were always good apart from the Chinese night which was excellent. There was cava at breakfast every other day which was a nice touch. The entertainment was good and when there was a show which didn't look like my cup of tea, I could always go to a bar within a short walk from the hotel. The bar was good with Gordon's gin & San Miguel, this opened at 10am which again was good. Activities throughout the day were good, with darts, pool, aqua aerobics, archery, shooting etc. The swimming pool was very good, deep enough and well maintained. Now onto the negatives, There was a bar called Natalie's Bar, you had to pay if you wanted drinks from there unless it was raining. All utilities on & always fully staffed so it made no sense as no one was there. You had to pay for pizza which was not in the all inclusive. You had to pay to put your luggage in a locker, I just left mine by the locker as had nowt to rob. The bedroom was not very luxurious and was not four star standard. Paying a €1 deposit for each plastic cup was quite annoying. It was generally a nice stay but I will not be returning.
