Inturotel Cala Esmeralda Beach Hotel & Spa - Adults Only

Breakfast choice just the same everyday and a lot of foods are dry. Room had tiles allowing insects and cockroaches in from the balcony. Staff treat everyone differently was at the outdoor area had to put t shirt on when is full sun 35 degreees but other people sitting didn’t have to. Pool doesn’t open till 9am which is also poor doesn’t allow you time to chill in morning at pool with coffee. Pool service only got asked if wanted to order a drink once in 7 days and also have to use paper cups which fall apart. Not a 5 star hotel.

This is an amazing hotel that is now our go to. We went 2 years ago for 5 nights and this time for 12 nights.....it was so worth it. The food is fantastic with so many options that rotates every day. Even breakfast changes slightly every day. I don't want to say much because it's perfect in every area except they don't enforce their own ban on sunbed reservations....so you get people reserving beds all day and there were days with 16 beds with towels on for hours and no people there. But our first time there, they did enforce the rule, so that was a shame. Other than that, it really is perfect and I can't imagine someone coming and not being completely happy

This isn’t my normal review !We arrived at the Inturotel Cala Esmerelda a few days ago.You know the way trouble can come in 3s.Well we nearly missed our flight then our luggage went missing and when we arrived at the hotel our bank card had a bit of a moment and refused to work. This hotel is all the nice things in other reviews , it is very clean,nicely located near Cala Esmeralda inlet ,comfortable beds and decent breakfast. What I need to commend is the effort of the reception staff to help their guests when things don’t go well for them! Half of the guests on the flight we were on didn’t get their luggage.EasyJet’s help was a QR code in the airport and fill in a report the reference number for which was never recognised.My husband and son had nothing but the clothes they came in and you don’t really think of the affect of no swim wear no toothbrush no flip flops or chargers . Reception rang the airport on numerous occasions and EasyJet on our behalf, the airport actually hung up on them , the wrong cases were sent on the first occasion and again they intervened and helped ring the very unhelpful easyJet . When our cases did finally show up they were totally damaged. They looked as if EasyJet had dropped them from the plane on the way past! Again help was offered in respect of action we can take for one particularly destroyed item of luggage. As for the bank card incident! I was embarrassed our card wouldn’t work and we had to contact the bank as they had put a safety block on it because of large payment in a country non native to us . Instead of judgment we were offered juice and cava and consideration until 20 minutes of holding on the phone got the block removed from our card.The staff were just super in our time of distress and We just wanted to share how really helpful and kind they all were to us.

Definitely not a 4 star plus hotel! The room small dated uneven floor tiles. Ants that came from balcony into room. No drawer storage! Food at breakfast and dinner poor quality and no vegetarian choices. Worse hotel I’ve stayed in would not recommend!
