Hotel Cala Dor - Adults Only

Have recently returned from a 3 night stay at Hotel Cala D'or and wished it was longer. The staff are friendly and hardworking. Everywhere is very clean and our Junior Suite Garden View was lovely. We had a few issues with the safe but they were resolved straight away. The location right on the beach and only a few minutes walk to both the resort centre and marina is perfect. We will be returning.

We first visited this hotel in 2012 felt so lucky to find it. We've been coming ever since it's the best hotel in cala d'or stunning setting. Loving the new hand soap very classy. Lots of rooms are getting refurbished which is great, many areas of the hotel are changing but it still has its charm. Would be nice if all the sunbeds were wood with the thick pads on like the ones underneath the breakfast room window. Would just like some cushions on chairs as they are all wood now not as comfortable but they look lovely. Loved the Spanish singer at the pool bar glad your still doing this and keeping the tradition. Thankyou for another wonderful holiday

We have been coming to Cala Dor for over 21 years. We have stayed at family hotels, boutique hotels and had villas in the past. This year we booked for 8 nights at this Amazing hotel. 30/6/25 to 08/7/25. We were blown away. Our daughter came out and stayed with her partner for 4 nights and they too were thoroughly impressed. Our first impressions was how beautiful the hotel decor was. Very classy boho chic. Everything looks and smells so clean. THE STAFF: The reception staff when above and beyond throughout our stay. Always friendly, polite and nothing too much trouble. The breakfast and pool bar staff work tirelessly, always smiling and engaging with the customers. It was the housekeeping team that blew us away. Everyday, our room and bathroom were spotless, plumped pillows, fresh linen and a joy to come back to each day. THE FOOD & DRINKS The breakfast choice had something for everyone and so enjoyable. Everything fresh and tasty, and the breakfast restaurant never felt manic or you felt rushed. The Pool side menu was great, the best being the coffee and cake for £8! THE ROOM Absolutely the best views of Cala Petita. The room was a great size. lovely mattress, bedding and pillows. The shower was powerful and had really lovely L'Occitane en Provence products. Air conditioning was powerful and much needed. THE POOL AND HOTEL We never had trouble getting sunloungers or daybeds. Sometimes not in our preferred spot but there was always somewhere to lie. Yet again the housekeepers and gardeners/handymen work tirelessly to keep this area immaculate. There was a lovely vibe though out the day at the pool, and a really nice mix of clientele. I was also very impressed with the library! We are planning to get back to this hotel later in the year and will 100% return next summer.

Fantastic hotel right on the pretty beach of Cala Petita. Hotel was spotless and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful or pleasant. The room was perfect with a large terrace, sea views and air-conditioning, really welcome as the temperature hit hi 30s every day. The hotel is adults only (16+) so great for those of us past the screaming toddler stage! Great choice at breakfast from a full “English” to Omelettes, cold meats and cheese, cakes and pastries. The pool is warm with an on-demand jacuzzi area and big enough for those wanting to use swimming for exercise. The pool bar is well stocked and serves a good range of snacks and meals from 10am to 4:30 with the bar closing about 11. The Cala Petita Beach Bar is a great place to eat, drink and admire the view. Cala Petita beach is very appealing with numerous places for jumping off rocks into the warm water. We’ll definitely be back later in the year.

Would have given this hotel five stars but for the sunbeds this is the first time we have been to a hotel for a long time we honestly thought the sunbed problem in this day and age would have gone but no the same as it was years ago all towels no people The rest of the hotel was great staff breakfast and the pool bar
