Nous avons beaucoup aime cet hôtel a cahuita. Nous avions un bungalow spacieux avec 3 chambres separees, climatisees. Le cadre est superbe, au milieu d un jardin ou Nous avons pu voir un paresseux, des oiseau, un chien de prairie...hôtel sur une mini plage mais la baignade est peu accessible. Piscine chauffee très agréable pour la fin de journée, les enfants ont adoré. Il faut un vehicle pr pouvoir se déplacer. Juste en face petit resto sympa. Nous avons pris le petit déjeuner un matin, personnel très souriant. Nous recommandons.

Bien déçus et pas à la hauteur de la notation TripAdvisor... beaucoup trop cher pour la qualité !! Accueil déplorable. On a plus l’impression de déranger un monsieur très avare de paroles et pas souriant... qui arrive de son salon quand on sonne à la réception (jamais vraiment ouverte !). Aucun service : pas de conseil, pas de petit déjeuner, rien à vendre (même pas de l’eau) Chambre : salle de bain avec moisissure, ne fait pas très propre. Bord de mer : pas de vue directe depuis les chambres ni les parties communes.

Très beau cadre verdoyant, des petits bungalows disséminés sur la propriété avec parking privé devant l'habitation. Notre bungalow (2 adultes et 1 enfant) était spacieux avec 2 chambres, une grande salle de bain, un frigo et le nécessaire à café. Une petite terrasse avec mobilier parfait pour la détente. Des essuies pour la piscine sont également mis à notre disposition. Belle piscine (froide) dans les arbres avec 2-3 transats. A deux pas de la mer mais pas pour se baigner. Quelques points négatifs viennent un peu ternir ce bel endroit... Dommage qu'il n'y a pas de petit déjeuner (bar juste en face mais malheureusement complet à chaque fois) Ca serait sympa de vendre au moins quelques snacks et quelques boissons Les bungalows ont besoin d'un bon rafraîchissement surtout au niveau de la salle de bain (la baignoire/jacuzzi) Beaucoup de moisissures. L'eau avait certainement stagner depuis un bon moment et donc ça puait quand on voulait faire aller le jacuzzi de ce fait on n'a pas pu l'utiliser. Plus de savon et jamais remplacé Le ménage est également à revoir! Pas mal de toiles d'araignées dans la chambre, des fourmis un peu partout (nous sommes dans la nature donc c'est un peu normal), Assez mal insonorisé, quand vos voisines rentrent tard dans la nuit et prennent des douches à 1h30 du matin, personnes ne dort chez nous! La communication par mail n'est pas du tout courtoise!

What a lovely spot
We loved the vibe at the Hotel La Diosa. The location is gorgeous: as you sit by the pool, you can look through the trees to the Caribbean, and there are often sloths in the trees and agoutis running around the lovely gardens. A short walk down the road is a path to the beach (Playa Grande) - the rip currents make swimming dangerous but you can walk for miles along the sand.
Our bungalow fitted our family of four nicely. The A/C didn't look big enough to cool the whole unit but it actually worked very well. The owner is very amiable. As a bonus, the Restaurant Bananas over the road serves some of the best traditional Costa Rican food we found anywhere.

Hotel muy caro para lo que ofrece. Ubicación remota con atención en horario limitado. Espacios muy reducidos y con muy poco personal.

Kein Luxus, jedoch für den Preis nichts zu meckern
Für den günstigen Preis war die Unterkunft sehr gut! Man darf keinen Luxus erwarten, aber alles war sauber und das Bett riesig und bequem. Eine Klimaanlage gibt's ebenfalls und einen kleinen Pool. Liegt direkt am Meer, jedoch eher schlecht darin zu schwimmen wegen Steinen.
Einzig negative war der Stromausfall am Abreisetag aber da kann das Hotel nichts dafür.

The waterfront areas are pretty, the bed was comfortable, and there's abundant wildlife. The pool is nice. The restaurant across the street, which is not associated with the hotel, is good. Cahuita is a nice town that seems to have good dining options. Maybe there are some nicer rooms, or maybe it was much nicer several years ago? The room I was in needed a lot of repairs and better cleaning.
