Victoria House Room Only Accommodation

Our stay at Victoria House has been home from home. A beautiful spacious bedroom, beautifully decorated. En-suite bathroom. Had everything we needed and more. Lovely welcome from Jan the owner. Had Inca our cockerpoo with us and she was also made to feel at home. The location is fabulous close to everything. There is ample information in the info pack in the room and Jan has a wealth of local information. I would loved to stay here again and would recommend to family and friends.

The owner, Jan, lives on the premises and was a wonderful host. Upon our arrival by car, she met us and showed us to a parking area which was about a five-minute walk from the hotel. And, she even greeted us with wines and beers that we had selected before we arrived. Jan was always available to answer questions, provide assistance, and make recommendations. When I had a little laundry, she did it herself at no charge! Rooms are large, and there is a nice sitting area on ground floor. Location is very good: only a few blocks from the castle and from streets with numerous restaurants and pubs. There is a nice patio in back, with steps up to a sitting area on the top of a wall overlooking the Menai Strait.

We can not fault this place enough Jan who owns it goes above and beyond to make your stay the best this lady is truly amazing, all staff are friendly too always above and beyond. This is truly 1 of the best stays ever. Nothing is too much trouble. Xxx

We actually went August bank holiday and going again this August bank Holiday. This will be our 24th year visiting the Victoria House caernarfon. Jan and her staff are very kind.she has hight standards everything is attention to detail the quality of the bedding is at the highest standard and the towels is the same standard .it is more than 5 star .that's why we go back every year .jan loves her B&B so much and improves on it every year.just when you think it can't get any better she finds more improvements. You also have dressingowns and slippers Can't wait to come and see you jan in 11days .if anyone want to stay near the caernarfon castle her b&b is part of the surrounding wall and beautiful view of the see book early so your not disappointed. Luxury King Room With Sea View - From the very first phone call to let Jan know we were running late and that it would be a late check in, we felt so welcomed. Jan helped us up with our bags, introduced us to her lovely dogs AND the complimentary beer was a perfect way to end a ten hour (should have been half that!) journey. Not only that, but Jan clearly is passionate about looking after others, thinking of every little thing that one (or couples) could need, staying at Victoria House. Clean bedroon and bathroom, both well presented, lovely complimentary tea tray well stocked and lovely Welsh Cakes! The bed was so comfortable - best night's sleep in a long while. I'm genuinely planning ways to get my husband back to Caernarfon for a holiday and not a working trip next time to stay here again. Beautiful breakfasts and dinner/drinks at the Black Boy Inn just a few minutes walk away, and some stunning scenery to mooch around to to pass time, or just to drink up. 100% recommend Jan, and Victoria House. Great place to stay in Caernarfon, lovely owner and staff nice clean rooms with comfy beds. Plenty of places to eat and drink and a great base if you want visit other places of interest in Wales, Llandudno, Conwy and Anglesey all within a reasonable drive time. Terry and Soo.

Beautiful place situated in a beautiful location. Plenty of walks and pubs nearby. The owner, Jan, was amazing. She catered for my wife, who is gluten free, with the surprise easter treats. Jan also welcomed us with a complementary drink... really nice touch. We would highly recommend staying here. The rooms were spotless with great facilities. We'd be back next week if we lived closer.

Excellent location next to the castle, finite attention to detail, so many little extras, quality linen, crockery, toiletries, beautiful decor. This is my second stay and I will be back on a regular basis. Considerate host with great communication. Stayed for business. Will be back for more, business and pleasure.

Beautiful hotel! Offering the best accommodation at a reasonable price. The room was immaculate! My partner has their own cleaning business and they were absolutely astonished by the cleanliness. Perfect view and wonderful hosts. We will visit again!
