Lovely hotel, the location of the hotel isn’t far from most attractions. A perfect destination for tourist visiting the North.

The hotel is ok if you book it for 3 people or less. I booked it for my family of 4 and the description on the booking site was different from what I had. Description on Trip.com clearly mentioned that I will have 1 double bed and 2 single beds, but 1 single bed finally changed to a sofa bed. I did discuss it with the concierge, and she said the hotel policy can arrange a sofa bed if 3 bed’s bedrooms are full. I did check again, I really didn’t find it on policy page and also room description. Lastly, the sofa bed, I actually don’t think it is a sofa bed. The sofa cannot be extended. The arm of the sofa and the back of the sofa are still there.

We stayed for 4 nights at the Celtic Royal hotel in Caernarfon with Parry’s coaches. Our room was spacious and the bed was firm, which was to our liking. The walk in shower was great. All our interactions with staff at the hotel were very positive and friendly. Food was a little bland, but we accept that this is often an issue when catering for coach parties. We would recommend this hotel as it is close to the attractive historic centre of Caernarfon and its modern harbour.

This is the 2nd time I have stayed at this hotel, and I was not disappointed. All I can say is kudos to nearly everything. 5 star Food 5 star staff The bed was really comfy. The only negative,if you can call it a negative was the TV in the room was tiny and the cups for tea and coffee could have been bigger.

Impressive, grand looking hotel with a lot of history. Excellent, cheerful and friendly young staff - a real team vibe. Good evening meals with large portions, but cramped breakfast buffet with little other than hot food. Coach parties around most days, but seated separately in the restaurant. Lots of easy parking around the hotel. Large room, but dated decor and tiny TV. Saggy mattress gave me backache.

We went to stay at this hotel for a mini visit to Wales with my father in law. The hotel was OK, really nothing special, hardly any storage in the rooms, all.the coat and towel hooks were broken. Pillows were really hard foam, and we only had breakfast in the hotel.once as it was not great. Thankfully there are some lovely places to have breakfast in the town. Only 2 members of staff actually spoke to us, the others were young adults huddled round having a laugh and didn't seem to be bothered about any service we required.

It's near the centre of town, down the hill from the city walls. It has a car park. It's a nice old building that has been recently renovated in keeping with its history. Our room was comfortable. We ate in the restaurant one night which was good. Breakfast was fine. The spa area is new and very nice.
