This is in a great location with convenient parking nearby (need to pay, but not a problem). Lovely walk from hotel to castle.

Good location in the centre of the town, however we had a terrible nights sleep. The patio door in our room (211) wouldn't lock or close and the storm kept pushing it back open. The wind was howling in our room and the doors were shaking, banging and rattling all night. I had never had such a bad sleep. Staff member apologised but the patio door really needs to be fixed. There was a large blue bottle fly in the bathroom that kept reappearing and we couldn't figure out where it was coming from.

The room was clean and reasonably priced. There was plenty of tea and coffee and we could replenish it ourselves. The area is quiet. The staff were brilliant. Informal checking in and out process

The hotel is warm and cheap. That's got the positives out of the way so let's move on. It must be hard to construct a hotel so devoid of character and charm. Access is on foot from a nearby car park and then a lift up to reception. This was staffed on arrival by a human being devoid of customer focus verging on rudeness. The room was adequate but nothing more. The surrounding buildings play havoc with phone and wi-fi signals requiring the purchase of 24 hours of WiFi for two devices. Tim Berners-Lee himself would have struggled to connect the second device - an issue readily acknowledged by the much nicer receptionist we spoke to at check-out. For what is a relatively new build, the rusting hand rail in the shower and the malfunctioning flush on the toilet does not bode well for the future. I regularly stay in Travelodges but this is one I will not return to on a future visit to Caernarfon

Travelodge was very clean, very comfortable bed. The staff were very polite and helpful. excellent stay.

Great place to stay to visit the locality of NW Wales. It is close to nearly eateries and supermarkets and just off the main A478.

Love staying at this Travelodge manager Rowan is so lovely and welcoming as are all the staff,room is spotless and spacious I love that it’s right near the marina,I would definitely stay again and would highly recommended can’t wait to book again

Even more basic than we expected. The location is in the center of a private gated apartment & office complex with no vehicular access and there is no drop off zone available. The nearest two public car parks are about 400m walk away with no signage what so ever giving a clue for directions. We also found that it was not possible to extend parking for longer that 24 hours using PaybyPhone app so had to move the car for our second night. The room was clean enough apart from the windows which were filthy outside. There was no heating thermostat. The bathroom had no ventilation and the hand & body wash dispensers were empty. Service was impersonal or non-existent. At nearly £200 for a two night stay Travelodge is no longer a budget accommodation but the standard does not command that price. We ate in the Table Table in the same complex for one dinner & one breakfast but it is better to walk into the Old Town as we found the service to be poor and the food a long way below a reasonable standard.
