Morayfield Tavern

The place was absolutely filthy we got In the door at around 6ish and was.just appalled by the state of the place. I wasn't even game enough to sit on the bed and there was things that were popping up everywhere. We had a look at the bed when we first got there to our surprise there was a spider under one of the pillows and it just got worse from there lol.we left at before 4 am as we just couldn't be comfortable either at the table or in the shower. It was really disappointing as my partner and I were trying to celebrate out 2 year anniversary.

Hotel rooms relatively modern & clean. Accommodation in great location, with Taveen next door & close proximity to major shopping. Meals at Tavern good value. Enjoyed a quick stop over, thank you.

TRULY WONDERFUL!!!! From the moment I checked in till check out I felt so looked after and staff went above and beyond MASSIVE THANKS to Tracey who was just down right epic. Was always friendly and kind and helpful. Staff at the tavern were very friendly and the food was amazing. The rooms are a great size and have everything you need with a giant friendly bed and amazing showers. Would highly recommend for anyone needing somewhere to rest their head. I was in room 16 tucked away down the back and could not hear anything was lovely. If I ever need somewhere to stay again in the area I’d be back here for sure ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We came to the tavern for my birthday dinner in August and were pleasantly surprised. All of the meals were delicious and generous in size. I had the chicken schnitzel. I had to take a doggy bag home, it was so big. I came back today and tried the vegan burger. Probably the nicest I have had anywhere. I hadn't been to this tavern for years, even though it is local. But it has improved. Well done.

Absolutely amazing. Staff were so helpful always, nothing is a problem . The rooms are a good size for a motel, there is a kettle toaster, microwave and fridge, beautiful roomy bathroom great hot water, this place made me feel like home, then the actual tavern , omg the food is so good and great prices, they, have kareoke nights, steak nights, there is a little playground for the kids as well. And. The staff are just so helpful and friendly at the bar, Also there is a lovely grass area with tables and chairs and ashtrays out the back of your room , kids can run around and burn energy. The cleanliness of this place is next level clean. I’m a germ freak and there was not one speck of dust and all the walls you could tell have been wiped. You also have tea and coffee in your room with complimentary milk, refreshed every day. Your room doesn’t get cleaned or bed made every day but that’s fine to me , but they do provide clean towels and if you want them to do your room they will nothing is a problem for these wonderful people .also this place is so central , you have places to choose to eat a shopping centre across the road what more could you want.

Road noise from hooning drivers was bad for a while after retiring for the evening. This is not a reflection on the motel only its location. However from our room the noise of dripping gutters onto tin roof below was annoying throughout the night more so as the rain picked up, suggest maintenance is required. Otherwise the room was clean and better than most at this price point.
