Elements of Byron boasts beautiful, well-kept grounds that create a serene atmosphere for relaxation. The resort features two pools: a family-friendly pool complete with a spa and an adult-only pool that includes a swim-up bar, perfect for unwinding. However, there are some drawbacks to note. The beach access is in need of improvement, and the location outside of town requires reliance on Ubers for trips to the main center, which can be inconvenient. One of the most frustrating aspects is the check-in policy. Guests arriving from Ballina airport may find it absurd that they cannot access the pool until 12 PM, a rule that seems out of place compared to other hotels, including all-inclusive resorts. The check-out process is similarly rigid, leaving guests to either wait in the foyer or leave early. On a positive note, the bell boys provide friendly and attentive service, enhancing the overall experience. The two-bedroom villas are spacious and well-suited for families, with a gorgeous enclosed balcony that features a heater for added comfort. Despite these highlights, my experience was overshadowed by the restrictive policies and the need for better beach access. Given the overall experience, I wouldn’t choose to stay at Elements of Byron again.

The front desk staff were lovely and accommodating, and the grounds, pool, and bungalows provided a wonderful retreat. However, be aware that some bungalows are right on the road, so it’s worth requesting a different location if possible. It would have been considerate to be informed in advance about the large group of 90 media staff staying at the same time, as their loud singing and yelling after 11:30 pm disrupted our sleep and their behavior dominated the poolside area. Additionally, we were surprised to learn at checkout that we couldn't use the pool while waiting for our flight. In our experience with other resorts, the amenities typically remain available until departure. This might be something to consider for future stays.

A huge disappointment, as have been to the Restaurant many times before & always a lovely lunch, but the food was very Off today, Salad half the size that it was normally The pear in the salad wasn’t fresh. We come for the pizza but totally a different pizza, uninteresting, The quality just wasn’t there at all, Staff were fine & accommodating, We won’t be back unfortunately as I don’t want to pay for second class food hear in the shire, I am a 43 year local.

Excellent place to stay , went for Fathers Day weekend with my 10 year old son. Absolutely loved the place and location. Room service is excellent. Pools and facilities are excellent. PS: Take an electric scooter and you will enjoy the place and the surroundings much better!

Always the perfect staycation. Will be back. Thank you for the amazing, service, food and cocktails. Recommend adult pool bar the frozen coconut margaritas and do yourself a favour and sit by the fire at night. Stayed in botanical villa and highly recommend

We stayed at Element of Byron for 2 nights to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary and it was just lovely, our Villa was everything we expected, our couples massage was wonderful and the facilities and pools are just amazing. There is nothing like a swim up bar adults only pool that is heated to the perfect temperature for swimming in winter!!

When you drive to your villa you wonder if you made a bad choice, beautiful lush grounds but the villas more shipping container than anything. Once you open the door however you have a beautiful space. See photos. Our chosen villa for two people was spacious, the king bed very comfortable, great shower, great wifi. My only gripe is a very poorly designed bath, my not very broad shoulders couldn't lie flat against the bath as it is too curved. We ate a few times in the resort at different locations and the results were mixed from ok to very good. Food was on the pricey end.Staff were helpful and friendly at all times. The solar train every hour up to 5pm to the town was fun way to get there. Uber was about $20.

What an amazing experience, your private villa tuck in amongst nature. Yoga alongside the beach while the wales cruised by, great coffee and food and the best accommodation and facilities around. Extremely friendly staff. Highly recommend.
