Lovely hotel in the center of Udine.
The hotel was lovely and we had a view of the piazza. The location was great as we could walk around the town. They do have parking which was behind the hotel and across the street and very secure for 18 euros a day. A lot of the front desk staff spoke English and were very helpful. We were able to have a king size bed which they call a matrimonio bed. Lovely hard wood floors in the rooms. It was very reasonable. Breakfast was 12 euros per day per person and included a full buffet. Comfortable and old world charm.

Hotel con potenziale: posizione centrale, camera pulita ma che ha bisogno di un reatauro: porta del bagno con la maniglia che si staccava.
Nel complesso sufficiente ma non tornerei.

Das Hotel Astoria ist unmittelbar am Herzen von Udine gelegen und ist daher ideal geeignet um Udine zu erkunden. Die Zimmer sind relativ groß, bequem eingerichtet und unterliegen einer sehr sauberen Pflege. Das Personal war professionell freundlich. Am Frühstücksbuffet entsprach dem Stand des Hauses. Die Parkgarage ist in wenigen Schritten zu erreichen, so dass man nach dem Abladen des Gepäcks das Auto schnell eingeparkt hat. Im Großen und Ganzen eine Empfehlung in Udine zu übernachten.

Very pleasant hotel in the heart of this lesser-known city in NE Italy. Strange business with the door keys but otherwise all fine. Breakfast coffee served efficiently and room very quiet (at rear) despite local celebrations in the Piazza which I also enjoyed (so best of both worlds?)
