Absolutely incredible hotel! Remarkably well preserved and impeccably maintained, the FINLAN is magnificent! Truly a step back in time to an amazing, vibrant moment in Butte’s incredible history. Wonderful and convenient base in the heart of uptown Butte - perfect for our large family gathering. When in Butte this is our go to place!

We adore the Finlen Hotel. Sandra and her staff were very friendly and accommodating. Yes, the hotel is old, but that is its charm. (It is also clean.) You can squint and transport yourself back to an earlier time. If time travel is your thing, Butte is your town, and the Finlen is your place. Amazing!

No AC! At a premium price in a near ghost town this is not worth it. Butte is a sad, depressing community recking of desperation and the smell of oil. The “lounge” is in desperate need of repair and caters to the locals. Butte is the armpit of Montana!

Been in and around Butte for all my life. Never stayed there before now. Was not thrilled to stay in the motor vehicle parked area but it was still a fine stay and quiet. Hotel secrion dressed and done well withhostorical decor and finishes, will stay in hotel portion next visit. Comfortable mattress/bed.

Historic, cozy, welcoming and easy walking distance to everything Uptown Butte has to offer. We were in Butte for a business trip and the Finlen was the right call. I highly recommend this refurbished, historic hotel over any chain for your next trip to Butte, America!

Clean, comfortable, staff was very helpful and accommodating, and pet friendly. Would stay again, only bad was a little bit of street noise.
