Spa Hotels in Busuanga

This is probably the most naturally beautiful resort that we have ever stayed in. The views out to sea are genuinely breathtaking and set within the beautiful garden setting of the resort. The sea is lovely and still allowing even the more middle aged traveler to kayak around the mangroves in blissful silence. The pool is relatively small but perfectly formed and perhaps one of the most warn, pleasant places to wile away some time. The food and drink offering is quite good, although at times there were a number of core ingredients unavailable that prevented the full menu being available. Staff are pleasant and service laid back in line with chilled out environment. It is probably worth noting that the lovely setting does come at the cost of accessibility for less able visitors.

This is a beautiful place to stay. Stunning views from the huge picture windows in every room of our villa. The room is super clean with comfortable bed and large bathroom. The staff are very warm and professional. The food in the restaurant is very good and so is the service. The location is remote but you can get in to town by van in 40 minutes.

Very friendly and accommodating. Queenie and all her staff members went out of their way to help us with everything we needed - organising our boat trips and transfers between places, preparing our packed lunch, etc. Our stay in Busuanga was easily our favourite on this trip - very relaxing and absolutely stress free. We did 2 boat trips: 1) Black Island, Dabotonay Island & South Cay from Salvacion pier; 2) Pass Island & Calumbuyan Island from Concepcion pier. We had to do a private tour on both trips as there was no one to share the boat with. Although it's more costly, it was worth it as we did not have to wait around for people and we stayed as long as we wanted to on each island without having to rush. Black/Dabotonay/South Cay have stunning beaches. While Pass & Calumbuyan have brilliant reefs. Queenie did her best to get us the best possible rate for our boat trips 👍👍👍. I highly recommend White Summerville and Busuanga for anyone who prefers a laid-back, hassle-free kind of place.

When we first arrived at the beach house at Ocam Ocam our reaction was that of pure awe. We were greeted with cold face towels freshly baked cookies but most importantly, smiles. The beach house is a beautiful space with impeccably considered decor in a stunning location. It was only in the first full day of our stay that we started to realise that this vacation resort was a lot more than its looks. The owners, Jess and Constantin (who we had the honour to meet during our stay) are natural hoteliers. They know the importance of the nuances and the details. The food is impeccable, I recommend the vegetarian eggs Benedict, the fish in crab fat sauce and of course, the freshly baked cookies with a generous scoop of divine home made ice cream. The cocktail list is confidently curated and the wine most certainly hit the right spot Reflecting on our stay at the beach house the stand out quality and the thing that has most impact is that the place has heart. The staff consists of local residents recruited because of their experience and their natural skill, they are attentive but not overly fussy. One of the staff members even gave us a cave tour on black island on his day off! Even the local island dogs are cared for and fed by the beach house staff- an extension of the kindness and hospitable nature of the team. We shall never forget our wonderful vacation in the Philippines but most of all we cherish the memory of our time at The Beach House, Ocam Ocam Thank you so much Jess (our mosquito fairy).
