"Hotel room was clean and as advertised. Breakfast was included but quite sub par (same options each day with really cheap fried options and very faulty waffle maker and coffee). The car park situation is absurd. It's a 5 min walk and the validated price is 18.50 per day. The check-in process took far too long, considering all of my details were already included in the Trip.com booking. But the staff were friendly and helpful."

In York City Center, our hotel is within a 10-minute walk of major attractions like Jorvik Viking Center and York Barbican event center. York Minster Cathedral and dozens of shops, eateries, and bars are within one mile. The University of York is just over a mile away. Enjoy free breakfast and our 24-hour fitness center.
"We were a family group of 4 adults and 2 children , each room had a double bed and a good size sofa bed. The beds were comfy although the sofa beds were a little firm but were for the children who were happy with them. We requested rooms close together and they were next door to each other, facing the front of the hotel so with the road outside. The soundproofing was good and we did not hear much noise from outside. The air con was excellent and nice and cool. The bathroom was good with a large step in shower, and complimentary toiletries. Breakfast was included and there was a good selection to choose from all very good quality. The waffle maker was an added bonus!! The location was very good, not far to walk into the centre and very close to Tesco local for any extras you may need. We bought a few drinks as there was a handy fridge in the room. I would dedinitely stay here again."

NNaliNoiReally comfortable Hotel…such a big room if compare to other hotel, with the big terrace that you can enjoy the view of the river.
Also, it's not too far to walk from the train station as we didn't drive into York. It is within walking distance of York's main attractions such as the York Minister and The Shambles.
The staff are nice and this is a good choice if you plan to visit York.

JJess BrowningFrom the moment we arrived at the hotel the staff couldn’t be more friendly and helpful. The bunker room made for a unique and comfortable stay and loved the little touches like the KitKats in the room on arrival. The only small complaint would be the shower head sprayed out, the whole bathroom floor to become soaked, but nothing major at all. We’ll definitely be back and recommending to to anyone staying in York.

MMimi-It was beautiful and comfortable! There was also a hair dryer! It's far from the center, so you either have to walk or take a bus, but there are a lot of buses, and the roads you walk on look beautiful, so I think it's a good idea.

WWallabys friendI had a wonderful stay at the Holiday Inn in York. The location is unbeatable—perfectly situated near the city center, making it easy to explore all the historic attractions. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, always ready to assist with any request. Their excellent service made my visit even more enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone visiting York!
