Do not try to book anything here if you have a "Buy a Gift" Voucher. I downloaded a voucher for an "Afternoon tea" at the grange. I called them to book a date. The person on the phone was quite rude and said a manager will call me back on Tuesday, she didn't even take my name. By late Tuesday afternoon I called them again to be advised the manager wasn't available and they do not do Afternoon Teas anymore. I asked what am I supposed to do then, I would like an Afternoon Tea and she said she would get the Manager to call me on the Wednesday - she did take my name this time. Well its Thursday now and still no call from the Manager and I have gone back to "Buy a Gift" and told them about this and they have arranged a credit voucher. I read in another review someone else had a "Buy a Gift" voucher and was treated quite rudely. Suffice to say I would not recommend this place for any voucher usage as they do not seem to like it.

Low stress overnight trip. We took a chance on an early check in and the team were calm and relaxed and were very helpful, we booked breakfast which was superb value and utterly delicious- great veggie breakfast and good coffee and extras available. We stayed in a lodge room, which was perfectly adequate- comfy bed and free WiFi.
A few areas to improve from a decorative point of view but a good value and relaxing stay.

The hotel stay was much better than i was expecting. The room was smallish but everything i needed, it was clean and the bed and bedding really comfortable.
The food in the dining room was fantastic! The prices reflected the standard of food well. The price of the wine might have been a bit over the top, but it was my fault for not checking the prices beforehand.
The staff that i met were welcoming, helpful and pleasant, especially Dinah (excuse the spelling).
All in all, a very pleasant and value for money stay
