Not been before so walked in hoping for a table as hadn't book. Staff were accommodating and got us a table right away. Ordered Sunday dinner - while waiting, staff gave a free pint of beer as it was father's day. Food came. Was absolutely delicious. Meat was melting in the mouth, veg was beautiful. Even kids cleared it. Can't fault one thing. Will definitely be back and highly recommend.

Lovely little pub , fantastic price lively quality food 2 meals £20 at lunch time , pub classics all cooked by the lovely chef ben who you can see really cares the saff are lovely and nothing is too much hassle, wishing this new team the best

Had a lovely meal tonight with the family. Compliments to the chef who cooked us the most delicious food and came out to check if it was all ok and brought some ham out for the dogs which was a lovely touch. Perfect service from a lovely young lady and very friendly bar staff. Thank you so much for being so accommodating to our troublesome dogs. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting the area

Here at the pembrey inn the place is so clean and tidy and the food is sensational from the new and improved chef Ben 👨🍳 I'd highly recommend all friends and family here 😀 and especially to the local community and everyone traveling down this place is a must such a welcoming place and so friendly. Don’t Bother What a let down Starters Garlic mushroom were cold ! Main . Gammon is so thin and cooked until it’s hard and black burnt bits on it it’s advertised with Egg and pineapple but it never arrived !! Curry is advertised with popadom it never arrived Onion rings were cooked to hell and back Pepper corn sauce finally arrived just as we were finishing our meal I added a little to the last bit of food and had to leave it , it was not pleasant so it was a blessing it was late . Kids meal should have come with a drink , it also never arrived ! Chips are hard and tasteless We obviously didn’t try puddings Spelling could be better on the menu Serloin / Serlion if your unsure is Sirloin Steak spelt twice in one sentence as above

We had the warmest welcome with our 2 dogs. The menu was great Staff were so friendly and helpful. There was a good menu plus a specials board. Husband had the lamb shank which looked delicious (felt jealous) but then my beef lasagne arrived which was spot on. The service throughout was friendly and quick. Thank you all.

After hearing good reports on the Pembrey Inn I took the family for a midweek treat. Staff are all lovely and pleasant and I know they are running a reduced menu but sadly the standard of food wasn't there. Good points Polite staff Homemade chips Kids meal nice but pricey Bad points Understaffed Items not on menu after ordered Wrong ingredients on several dishes Poorly cooked, (deep fried sausage and raw cabbage, no love in the gravy) Was a lot of quantity not quality 50 quid spent on 3 soft drinks, 1 starter, 2 Mains and a kids meal which wouldn't mind usually but didn't enjoy. Both left half our food As a local i hope they can pick themselves up to their former glory reviews but sadly I won't be back in a hurry I have included a pic of my "giant Yorkshire" and sausage and mash

Unfortunately the meals were not up to normal standards,very disappointed with meals and desserts,young waitress was very helpful,very expensive for what we had ,it's was a birthday celebration,will not go there again ,this venue used to be pretty good

The food was excellent and reasonably priced. A great place to be for your food and drinks. The owner and staff go the extra mile to ensure you have a pleasant and enjoyable experience. I can Highly recommend the pembrey and country Inn. I shall be coming back soon.
