We pre-ordered the bread-crusted lamb shank, but there was a slight hiccup which resulted in a longer wait. However, the restaurant staff were very sincere and proactive, explaining the situation and offering their apologies. The delicious food made up for everything: the succulent and tender lamb shank, the crispy bread crust, and the attentive service were all highly satisfying. A small suggestion: the breakfast menu is essentially the same every day, which isn't ideal for guests staying for multiple consecutive nights. Perhaps a two-day rotation could be considered to offer more variety.

The Fairytale Hotel boasts an excellent location, directly opposite the scenic area's service center, making it incredibly convenient to walk to. The rooms are fully equipped with smart technology, and the staff were incredibly warm, even escorting us to our room. Breakfast was exceptionally generous and the most delicious we've had in days. The only minor drawback was that the lobby felt quite cold, requiring us to wear thick jackets. Overall, this is a highly recommended hotel. A helpful tip: Kanas can be quite chilly even in August, so definitely remember to pack a jacket as thick as a windbreaker or shell jacket, ready to wear at any time.

The starry sky rooms and yurts are equally unique, allowing you to sleep under the stars and wake up to a sea of ​​clouds and sunrise. However, there's a terrible Xinjiang restaurant right next to the hotel. Seriously, avoid it! A Xinjiang vendor was grilling lamb skewers at the entrance, trying to attract customers, which led us to believe it was a local business. However, it turned out not to be locally run at all. Their hand-grabbed lamb, priced at 198 RMB, was a tiny portion, and half of it was tough, fatty meat that was impossible to chew. Many customers took only a couple of bites, leaving most of it untouched on their plates before walking out.
